EducationRe: Lady Shares Experience With Unilag's New Electric Buses, Reveals Fare Is ₦100 by naptu2: 8:38pm On Jan 10, 2025
Background info

1) A few years ago the Federal Government implemented a programme to build solar charging stations in Nigerian universities. They started with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, the University of Lagos and another university (I can't remember for sure, I think it was Ahmadu Bello University).

2) A group of Unilag alumni, called Ogata Global Resources, donated the electric buses early in December 2024.

3) The buses run trips within campus.

What's that?
Just as you wrote, action stars get typecast and, back in the 1980s and 1990s, stars like Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenneger were known for blow them up type action movies and they needed to do something different.

So Sylvester Stallone starred in Oscar, a very funny comedy. As Gloriousgbola said, he also acted in Stop Or My Mum Will Shoot , which was an action comedy.

Arnold was the star of Kindergatten Cop , which was also an action comedy (mainly comedy with a little bit of action).

I have watched the entire movie in this trailer. So wetin come remain??

Jason has become the stereotypical action hero, playing the same kind of roles over and over again. I really wish he would play other kinds of roles that can showcase his creative skills like he did in 'Spy'. I was shocked he could actually play a comedic character.

There were rumours when El-Rufai met Shehu Gabam in March last year and El-Rufai's spokesman released this statement in response.

I forgot to include Sikiru Olatunbosun's goal in 2017.

This goal, which was scored in the Nigerian league, the NPFL, was CNN's goal of the week, Supersport goal of the week and it was shown on TV stations around the world and written about in newspapers around the world.

But it's also an example of the problem. The problem was not that you can't get such goals in the Nigerian league, no, the problem was the mentality of Nigerians who voted for a lesser goal (because it was scored by a European). It is the mentality of certain Nigerians who always want to tear down anything Nigerian.
naptu2:
Worth watching again. Sikiru Olatunbosun's wonder strike for MFM against Enugu Rangers at the Agege Stadium in Lagos. It was CNN's goal of the week.

I watched an interview that DBN had with him yesterday and he talked about how happy he is that continental football is returning to Lagos for the first time in more than 13 years. He has always dreamt of playing against teams like Zamalek and Al Ahly. I assume that they will play their continental matches at the Teslim Balogun Stadium.
