It was a closed-door game, meaning no spectators or videos. The Canadians asked some people (including Nigerian journalists) who posted videos online to take them down.

(Canadian fans had been complaining that their football association was not posting anything about the game while some Nigerians were posting videos and pictures (they were praising the Nigerians).

The game was basically a practice match, which is why there was a penalty shootout after the match even though Canada won the game.

The Super Falcons of Nigeria lost a closed-door training match 1-0 to defending Olympic champions Canada yesterday. However, the Nigerians won the practice penalty shootout 5-4.

The game, which took place in Marbella, Spain, was a friendly training match ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Nigeria's first game at the Olympics is against Brazil on July 25th.
