So their names be shown on the medals table instead of their countries?
Or not shown at all.....hmm

Not shown at all.

Never going to happen.

Aliko Dangote's great-grandfather, Al-Hassan Dantata, taught his children that they should never get involved in politics. He said that they should be friends with all authorities and resolve disputes quickly, but they should never get involved in politics.

Dangote has also said that he is not a politician and he has no desire to get involved in politics.

Perfect view of Team Nigeria from a bridge.

See how I scream Naija when I saw Team Nigeria at the Olympics Boat Parade in Paris at the River Seine.

They even tried throwing a Naija flag to me ❤️. Wishing out athletes the very best #Paris2024

RaptorX:
I think Russia is banned from participating because of the Ukrainian invasion.

Russia is banned, but Russian athletes will be able to compete as individual neutral athletes (athletes individual neutral [AIN] in French). This is the 4th Olympics in a row where this has been the case (if you include Winter Olympics).

Russia was initially banned for doping reasons.

This means that Russian athletes will compete as independents, Russia will not be on the medals table and the Russian National Anthem will not be played. Russian officials will also not be able to attend certain conferences, meetings and events.
