Your current place of employment, what's the notice period?

I believe you shouldn't leave abruptly and it's somewhat wrong for the new company to expect an immediate resumption, considering you are still working and not unemployed.

Negotiate with the new company on a convenient time frame, say 2 weeks. Again, this is dependent on what your existing contract states ( I'm assuming you have one).

Plus the lady mentioned I'll be debited $13 for it.

I got the card whithin an hour of walking into the bank and the 10 dollars annual fee was deducted when I credited the card with dollars.You do need I.D ,proof of address and a passport photograph.

You can take a BRT to Yaba (probably 500naira).

Trek from Yaba Bus Terminal to Tejuosho.

Tejuosho > Ojuelegba under bridge (50naira).

From Mile 2, find a bus heading towards Obalende or CMS ( you can then take a bus to Obalende).

At Obalende, enter a bus to Falomo, Ikoyi. From there, it's literally a walking distance to the hotel.
