Encomiums as Amadi empowers Amaudara people.

Political, religious and community leaders in Nwangele LGA of IMO state have continued to pour encomiums on Mr and Mr Chris Chimezie Amadi for the formal launching of their annual empowerment programme for men and women of Amaudara town in Abajah community, Nwangele LGA.

The epoch making event which started with a Holy mass on 28th December 2018 at the country home of the Amadi's witnessed the presence of who is who in IMO state and beyond.
Notable leaders in Nwangele LGA who graced the occasion includes, Chief Clifford Orjiako, chief Mrs Calista Nwachukwu, Hon Ngozi Njoku, Chief Okey Iwuoha, , chief Osuala, Chief Oforoha and other members of Abajah Eze's cabinet.
In his speech while presenting the empowerment kits like sewing machines, grounding machines, wellbarrows, clothing, bags of rice and other food items to the beneficiaries, Mr Chimezie Amadi pointed out that the essence of the program is to celebrate his people through a programme that is designed to empower men and women of Amaudara town, adding that the vision is targeted at widows, less privileged and the needy in the town.

He noted that he wants to improve the economic status of Amaudara people through the programme to enable them take care of themselves in order to achieve a paradigm shift in their way of thinking, arguing that through hard work, determination and dedication one can attain any height he desired for himself.

According to him," we felt that it is good to share whatever God has given to us, it is also good to let others share the joy we have as a family. Whatever God has given to you as an individual, you should always be able to share it with those around you. I strongly believed that God will continue to provide, our desire is to make it an annual programme until our people are librated from poverty."
He further stressed that, " we want our people to be empowered on the way they think, economically, we want to actually stimulate economic activities within Amaudara town since it is the only town in Abajah that is in the hinterland. This is a way of equipping and empowering them to be of economic use within the Abajah community. Though, we have intention of making it a global programme but charity begins at home."
Amadi used the opportunity to charged the beneficiaries to use the items to help themselves by putting them into good use, adding that he believes much on the philosophy of teaching people how to fish.

He however also maintained that the programme has no political undertones as it is more less a social service.
"Take my words to the bank, there is no political undertone attached to this programme. We are social entrepreneurs, our aim is to serve the people, to share the joy and blessings God has given to us. It is more less a social service." He added with emphasis.
