I am a teacher myself with 10 years experience in different schools. I can't tell you my income but I earn above X5 of that amount.

Over 10 years, about 80 percent of my students passed Chemistry WASSCE and NECO without exam malpractice. (I am a Deeper Life bro and don't do expo or allow it for my students) Roughly speaking, almost half of my students got distinction. I have gotten CAIE and other certificates in my teaching career.

These are the success stories I present to schools during interview. I also teach online.

Teachers in Port Harcourt, Abuja and Lagos are the biggest earning private school teachers in Nigeria. If you still earn 65k after 10 years, something is definitely wrong.

I didn't share my story to boast but for you to pick lessons.

Don’t you have other sources of income? I’ve seen some teachers that earns way less and they’re surviving especially in rural areas?

Have you tried working elsewhere? Someone with your experience should be able to get another job.

Have you tried applying in a school that pays more? I’m not sure all schools in port harcourt will pay that less.

What’s your qualifications? Because if you have a higher qualification, you wouldn’t stay there for more than 2 years. This answers will determine if you’re ready for another job or not.

Most schools in portharcourt pays same amount, and the standard of living here is high...you may not be able to generate capital to start a business

The fraud case on Oyeamma's neck is older than Air peace. It dates back to how he was in NDDC and he stole and laundered over 20 million dollars to United States and violated their money laundering act

In a long run......these private sectors will have only non graduate or SSCE holders to employ, because a graduate can not accept any offer lower than what he or she was paid during service year. And for those companies or schools that employs corpers....they will up their games or discontinue from employing corpers, because it will become an insult to them and a let down on the part of their staff....how can a corper be earning more than a full time staff......

Now, for those asking how it will affect private sectors.....it is quit simple. The government is very smart to start the payment from NYSC......meaning that a corper can not earn 74000 when serving , and after serving decide to accept a lower offer like 50 or 60 or even 70k. It is not possible, the private sectors will start loosing workers and may not get a graduate as replacement....they will be forced to improve on payment or shut down.
