Kai Kai Palor news. While Nigerians are currently facing the combined challenge of Fuel Scarcity, No Power supply, Job Loss etc. I think we Nigerians should just have two point agenda and settle that before we fix another agenda that will be denied. It will be nice if this Kai Kai palor news is made real to the advantage of the masses who are currently sleeping and waking at Fuel Stations
Politics / Re: Budget: PDP Member Points To Error Made By President Buhari by nd4facts: 10:01am On Jan 20, 2016
Let us give him more time. Perhaps the next two budgets presentation might be better. Especially since the Nigerian system is not ripe enough to produce individuals like, Fola Adeola, Pat Utomi and their likes as President. Let us continue to endure and manage the errors as we leave together as a people. Soludo must not see this

TV/Movies / Re: Yoruba Movies Making Waves On The Internet And Should Be Encouraged by nd4facts: 10:54pm On Jan 13, 2016
Yes, I know that with NollyLand, Nigerian movies will go places.

However, Nigerians need to begin to encourage their own and offer constructive criticize that will help our industries grow and boost our economy.

The more the SME's (Small and Medium Size Entreprises) the lower our unemployment rate. Sure we should encourage our own if we honestly desire to grow our economy and boost our GDP.

The Nigerian English movies are also good but they are devalued when they are placed on pirateable medium like YouTube. The owners Nigeria movies need to preserve the values of their movie and discourage piracy.

Politics / Re: ACN To President Jonathan: Apologise To Nigerians Over Fuel Subsidy Mess by nd4facts: 8:55am On Dec 30, 2015
"ACN recalled that in many previous statements, it informed the President that there was no subsidy on fuel, and that what the government claims to be subsidising are corruption and inefficiency. “We quoted informed analysts, who proved - with facts and figures - that the average true price of a litre of fuel is N34.03,” it said. “We suggested ways in which the government can truly deregulate the sector without inflicting untold hardship on Nigerians. But in the end, as always, the government ignored all the interventions and went ahead with its pre-meditated action."

What is your Position and why?:
1) Since the Price of Crude in the International Market is now on a drastic fall especially in 2015.
2) Since the current rulling party has informed us that some if not all of our refineries are commenced operation
3) Recall that in 2012 when they (ACN) made the above comment the price of Crude at the international Market was a lot higher (See the extract above)and
4) From the extract above, ACN said their informed analysts put the actual fuel price at N34.03 per litre.
5) In 2015 members of ACN are now in the Rulling party

What do you now think should be the correct price for a litre of Fuel in Nigeria right now and why do you think so?
Politics / Re: LASTMA Official Caught Making Call While Driving by nd4facts: 10:28am On Dec 22, 2015
I think he is trying to ask his Oga if he should blame GEJ for making the phone call
Politics / Re: #letsblamegej Now Trending On Twitter (pics) by nd4facts: 10:19am On Dec 22, 2015
Even though PMB and his new retired Army Customs boss could not control fuel tankers from crossing our borders and or diverting fuel and Nigerians are still experiencing shortage of fuel despite the huge supplies. #letsblameGEJ#

Even though APC have suddenly discovered that removal of fuel subsidy first is a must and Pastor Tunde Bakare and his group are now mute after assisting criminals to waste four valuable years of our nationhood #letsblameGEJ#

Even when we cannot get fuel supplied to all fuel stations and no fuel to power our gen set due to poor power supply #letsblameGEJ#

Even when the APC administration could ban the importation of "I better pass my neighbour gen set" without banning the large size generators #letsblameGEJ#

Even when PMB confirmed that Vandals were sabotaging the gas supply to power generating plants just like GEJ had informed Nigerian's and No APC ( ACN, CPC etc) members supported him then even PMB was a member of council of States meeting at that time. #letsblameGEJ# for poor power supply.

Even when Fashola did not acknowledge the efforts of GEJ during the Campaigns, but he is now copying and following GEJ's power reform blue print as adopted from OBJ administration. It is a confirmation that Fashola was earlier speaking from a point of ignorance he is now calm to understand that GEJ restored the power reform program on track after it was about to be derailed. #letsblameGEJ#

Politics / President Jonathan And The Future Of Nigerian Youths by nd4facts: 2:33pm On Mar 25, 2015
Come March 28 2015 Nigerians will decide who their next President will be. The Nigerian youths make up a significant proportion of the registered voters. This prompted me to attempt to get a assessment of the view of this voting population’s review of the reasons for the choice and voting style it appears that some of this class of Nigerians need proper orientation and education ahead that is why I will try.

Nigeria as a nation has gone through very extended military regime which distorted the growth of our democratic institutions. OBJ tried his best but remember that he was a military man. Ya'Adua and President Jonathan on their own put in their very best and as we can all attest, INEC is doing a great Job. What most GEJ critics usually do is to give praises to Jega when INEC performs but abuse Jonathan when INEC fails. This is not fair. As at today, INEC is under the Presidency. The Presidency funds INEC and knows about her policies, strategies and programs. It is totally wrong for us to disregard Mr President when it comes to INEC good performance. Mr President chose Jega and empowered him to do the great works. Also for those who could recall Maurice Iwu of those days. He could only perform based on the limitation of Mr President and the electoral act. Likewise Jega. in 2011, INEC under Jega wanted to conduct a full scale e voting. I am not talking of use of PVC and or card reader machine. I am talking about using your thumb prints directly on the voting equipment. They discovered that the electoral act does not support it. Then INEC made moves to amend the act. Up till now it has not been able to pass through the National Assembly. Note that National Assembly is an independent and separate arm of government. The President cannot just jump in and force them to amend the act. The PVC and the PVC verification machine is just a way around the real e voting solution. It is hoped that in the future, our legislators will see the wisdom in the full scale e voting solution. India with a voting population of about 800million uses e voting why can't we use it?

In my view Mr President is fighting corruption in a very effective manner with the use of computer based solutions. As at today, FIRS ( Federal Inland Revenue Service), CAC ( Corporate Affairs Commission), NPA ( Nigerian Ports Authority), Federal Government Employee payroll system have all been computerized. You can now register your business online through http://new.cac.gov.ng/home/ . With the payroll solution the nation was able to save over N64Billion Naira usually paid to ghost workers.

What I am saying is that with computer based solutions, the Federal government is gradually building a culture of Zero or near to Zero corruption or fraud environment. The computerization process is still on and If we allow the federal Government, most of them will be completed in a year or two. With this computerization processes, most if not all of the middlemen will be totally eliminated. Businesses and government operations will function more efficiently.

Through YOUWIN initiative. (See https://www.youwin.org.ng/) the Federal Government is saying that most of our youths are currently masters in CV design. What if they are reeducated to make them know that they could become employers?. And some of them who will finally qualify will be given a free money to go and invest. This free money is known as grants. Now my observation is that a few lazy youths think that this is a way of making lazy money. This is not for lazy Nigerians. As soon as you can attempt to go through the process you will see that your entrepreneurial skill will definitely develop even when you don't have the final grant. You can grow your business and become and employer of labor. It was assumed that each youth could employ as much as 22 other youths and soon our labor challenge will be a thing of the past. I want to tell us that while some youths are very busy abusing the Federal Government and watching EPL some youths are already keying in to the Federal Government initiative and helping others. Also check out project act initiative of the Federal Government( http://www.projectactnollywood.com.ng/) Also the Federal Government have approved the establishment of a bank to take care of small and medium scale businesses.

Security challenge: We will all recall that our founding fathers approved the body known as Council of States. See this link for their function http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Council_of_State_%28Nigeria%29. I want to let you know that the Federal Government worked closely with the council of states meeting in arriving at the current solution to the insurgency challenge. You will recall that the council of states meeting is made up of past presidents etc. They have all been working had until when our Nation had to sign several treaties with our neighboring countries. It was initially discovered that the terrorists usually run across the borders. Nigerian government after waiting for her US partners for a long time had to approach other vendors for quality weapons. You will recall that When Iheijirika was able to chase the insurgents to the forest certain Nigerians claimed that he was committing genocide. Base on that the US believe that our human rights records was poor and they prefer to stay aside.

Thanks to our foreign partners, we now have very good quality equipments also our neighbors are also very helpful.

Infrastructure:

Several Federal roads projects have been completed. A notable one is the Benin Ore road. You will recall that for the 8 years OBJ ruled that road was not motor able. Travelers usually drive into the bush before coming out ahead. It usually take longer time to get to the east. But as at today, it takes about 4 Hours to get to the eastern side of the country. Also the dead rails system has been revived. Now travelers can go from Port Harcourt to Enugu on rail at the cost of N750. While the old rail line is being worked on the Federal Government of Nigeria have already signed a contract with a Chinese firm to link all our states with high speed rail lines. (See links below)

http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/02/fg-plans-3-hour-abuja-lagos-speed-rail-project/

I also understand that 600 KM high speed rail line connecting Lagos to Ibadan has also been approved.
These rail projects will boost commerce in the nation. For instance vegetable and cattle dealers can transport their goods at a low cost from the northern part of the nation to the south. Also trader from the north can purchase their goods from the south and transport same to the north at a low cost.

A similar project was aborted by the military in the early 80's ( Check out this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lagos_Rail_Mass_Transit) It is might believe that the youths will not allow themselves to be used to truncate this project. Today Lagos is experiencing huge traffic challenge. Pa Jakande saw this coming and tried to avert it but the Military struck and stopped the project. I wish we will all allow it to fly. The youths will be the ones to benefit from the project and not Jonathan alone.

Due to desperation and poor understanding of government policies, some youths are being used to vandalize gas pipelines there by distorting our power supply. The Federal Government of Goodluck Jonathan is about deploying technology to monitor our pipelines. See this link http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/01/digital-surveillance-curtail-pipeline-vandalism-coming-says-power-minister/

It is believed that with these progresses our power supply will be stable. Permit me to stop here for now.

And please my brothers and sisters it is for our own good for us to join hands with Mr President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to fix our dear nation Nigeria.

Thank you
