REPORT: EFCC Investigates Alleged N11 Billion Financial Mismanagement in Osun State

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has reportedly been investigating the Osun State Government since March 2026 over the alleged fraudulent management of Ecology Funds, Intervention Funds, and allocations from the Federal Account Allocation Committee (FAAC).

According to the report, the funds under investigation are valued at approximately ₦11 billion.

As part of the ongoing investigation, several officials of the Osun State Government, including the State Accountant General, have reportedly appeared before EFCC investigators for questioning and interview sessions as the Commission continues its probe into the alleged financial irregularities.
