MESSAGE FROM "NIGER-DELTA HOUSE OF COMMONS" TO ALL NIGER-DELTA YOUTHS.

For how long shall we continue to result to violence as a means of achieving a common goal? Our aggressive mode of making demands has given us a bad name even beyond the shores of this Nation. Let us bring our minds to the glaring fact that sustainable peace and lasting development can only thrive in an atmosphere calmness and political tolerance.

We are all aware of the immense contribution of our region to the well-being of our nation Nigeria, but let us also be aware of the current boost in agriculture and the massive investment in the sector by the Federal Government. In no time, agriculture will be a major player in our economy, especially as oil prices continue to deteriorate globally. We should all have it in mind that our relevance in Nigeria today is based on the major issues role we play as a source of revenue. The question we should be asking ourselves is: "What will happen when agriculture finally got takes over (especially as oil prices continue to drop globally)"

Round table negotiation has proven to yeild positive results in recent times especially in this present adminstration of President Muhammadu Buhari. It's high time we create a positive image of ourselves and be a worthy ambassador of our blessed Region and to the Nation at Large.

Long live The Niger-Delta Region,

Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

A CALL ON THE PRESIDENCY TO MAKE PUBLIC THE HEALTH STATUS OF PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI.

The continuous absence of President Buhari from subsistent Federal executive Council meetings and his recent trip to London for medical Follow-up has been a source of concern and has given us course to feel that the presidency is not being truthful about the president's health status.

It could be recalled that the Minister of information, Alh. Lai Muhammed said in a press briefing that the President was advised by his doctors to have some rest and that he will have to be working from his official residence.

Even though the details of his last medical trip to London has not been made public, we call on the Presidency to respect the freedom of information act and publish a detailed  Medical report of President Muhammadu Buhari. The Nigerian populace can no longer be kept in the dark on the state of their President's health as it is of great concern to everyone.

It is no longer healthy for us as a nation to be silent on the this isseu because it is our fundamental right to be in the true picture of the recent happenings in the Presidency because the total well-being of our president is our responsibility as a Nation.

Even though we strongly believe in the ability of our Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo in piloting the affairs of this Nation pending the arrival of the President, we pray for his quick recovery and safe return back home to fulfill his God-giving mandate of salvaging the Nation from her present economic woes and severe corruption.

God bless Nigeria

Hon. (Comr.) Lebari Young Nkpowa
