I’ve been following Arsenal for about the same amount of time, so I understand how frustrating and disappointing it’s been over the years. But tere’s nothing quite like that “nearly” syndrome, we also need to be realistic with ourselves.
When Arteta took over Arsenal, look at the calibre of players he inherited. He’s had to overhaul almost the entire squad, but without the kind of budget that teams like United, Chelsea, and even City have been spending in a single season , we spent what Chelsea spent in 2years in 5years....
City, for example, spent nearly £100 million just to strengthen the squad in January again, we couldn't spend a penny🥺,and they have been pretty at our back ever since ,and they’re reportedly planning to spend another £200 million in the next transfer window. Can Arsenal realistically match that?

Exactly what i am saying, arsenal do not have that quality to compete with City. It would have been great for them to do it this season as they almost did but with the situation now, they can't. The big money city having reinforced in january will win the league again.

Injury and mismanagement put those teams you mentioned where they are today.. if abramovich was still in Chelsea they won't be in this forms, even those they are not doing bad under the new owner, same things with united too. Only those that started watching football will argue with you on what you said. Have been a Chelsea fans since 2000 and I don't panic in game of football at all. I always wait till final 90min before I react, even when Chelsea beat city during there champions league final I almost get high BP, since then I don't panic.

You are just contradicting yourself here and there even when you have stated the obvious facts. No one says Saka and Odeggard have not been good. The fact is that they are presently not good probably due to injuries like you stated and that is one the reasons they wont win the league. Their best players are washed and they do not have the quality at this crucial time.

Yes, liverpool won by a good margin cus other teams were not good enough. They were extremely lucky to win comfortably. This time, arsenal would have been lucky too but mancity reinforced during the last window and they have some players that have now recovered fully from injury. They are the best in england at the moment. If you doubt me, go and watch their last two matches. They have 95% chances of winning the league. They are unlikely to loose any of their remaing fixtures. They will batter Arsenal again for sure.

I was surprised to see him replace Maduekwe with a school boy in a game of that magnitude when Arsenal were loosing. Agree, Maduekwe is a player without sense but he is better being on the pitch than that innocent boy. That game was too big for him.

You have admitted in your own post that saka and odeggard have been struggling so what difference would they have made? Odeggard played against sporting and did not make any difference. Hincappe is just an average player who is very hardworking. Arsenal has really been lucky to top the table + other teams have been poor. Now that city has regain form + improved their team, i strongly believe Arsenal will not win the league.

Maybe Timber could have added something going forward but if it was just defence, he wouldnt have done better than white who was decent in this match.

The problem is that Arsenal has got a big squad of average players but the media keeps hyping them. Already, from what i have seen today, it will take a lot of luck for them to win the league. The attack isnt just good enough. Odeggard and Saka are washed...even with them on the pitch, they could still loose.

Secondly, as at 2019, N8m was a lot of money! To now hear he used it to process japa to an Asian country?? Hmmm. That amount could conveniently take only you to the UK as at 2019.

I know of a close friend who travelled to the UK in 2022 with less than N5m through student route.
