Politics / Re: OBAFEMI AWOLOWO INTERVIEW: Twenty Pounds Policy And The Igbos by Neckpresser101: 3:34pm On Apr 11
Difrent:

Igbos can never be satisfied even when they claim to be the richest tribe that has the highest standard of living
Do you know why?
Because of the yorubas
Igbos lifelong ambition is to become greater than the yorubas ..... As if it's the yorubas fault that the Europeans got to their coasts first and it's because we had a great Oyo empire alongside sister Benin Kingdoms as well as Itsekiri who have been exploring the ocean for centuries.

Thats what drive their politics

And since yorubas too no slow down in their development efforts it will be a lifelong game of catch up for most igbos

While they are still struggling to get a fake Agulu man into Aso rock ,a second yorubaman to become president is in Aso rock..... this fact alone is making igbos hate yorubas to the extent they started hating themselves for not being able to stop the progression of yorubas politically and economically. ...
Because of the yorubas the igboman is doomed to live a life of self hate, they deserve our pity not condemnation

Are you saying your ancestors left Nigeria for their new country, biafra, without withdrawing all their deposits in Nigeria banks before leaving?
Knowing that there was no Internet banking then?
Knowing that you can only withdraw from the same branch where you opened your account then (if you open an account in Firstbank Yaba, you cannot withraw from Firstbank Surulere in those days)?
Many of your people sold their belongings in various part of the country and relocated to biafra their new country as instructed by Ojukwu.
People like Chinua Achebe, Zik, Ekwueme, Nzeribe, Mbanefo even Ojukwu etc never complained that they were given #20 only. Who are those faceless beings that left huge money in their bank accounts, but was given only #20.
That #20 was a kind gesture and act of benevolent from the Federal government of Nigeria as suggested and implemented by great Awo. It is never done anywhere in the world.
Also remember that all the federal allocations due to Eastern region during the war period was well kept for them by Awolowo, and this was released to them via Nnamdi Azikiwe and Easterners controlled bank after the war. Please read with opened mind.

Yeah 20 pounds was a kind gesture

what a shame like Nigeria was the first country to fight civil war

Shameless goons!

I'm really glad we are doing fine now

Those that were given 20 pounds are doing great πŸ‘

Chinjo2:
The Nigerians I know as of today will vote for MC Oluomo because of tribalism.
That is exactly what is playing out in Edo state between Asue Ighodalo of PDP and Monday Okpebholo of APC.

Sometimes I wonder if those campaigning for Monday Okpebholo are alright.

How on earth can you have an Asue Ighodalo on the ballot and be talking about a Monday Okpebholo?

God forbid

they will vote him o and cry ebi NPA wa o

JESHAL007:

In western societies with gynocentric laws that don't favour men, you don't have the luxury of getting the "good woman" because the laws incentives bad behaviour in women, simply put you can't find a quality wife there, I don't care how religious she is, but in fairly conservative societies like patriarchal Africa, you can get away with the "good girl myth" because the culture isn't yet "woke" unlike liberal societies.
I understand man.

There are exceptions bro.

it's ok.

Thanks.

I made my point.

Having an "understanding girlfriend" doesn't negate female nature, sure you are broke, she's accommodative, how you not sure she's not having another backup plan, how are you sure your relationship is not on a timeline, be wise In your dealing with women even the ones giving you NAWALT vibes.
everything is wrong with generalising all men as criminals and prone to violence due to our Testosterone levels is linked to violent behaviour
but NAWALT Is bad thing right?

mathematics is the language of the universe.
Anyone who's good at math will agree that there are exceptions in every math data X/0 is a very common math ratio which shows exception

My point is, there's nothing like NAWALT vibe NAWALT is real
AWALT isn't always true . make you no go treat good woman bad Ajeh

Shadow ko Spectre ni. It would surprise you that Lagos will thrive more when Nigeria divides and we have to tax foreigners more. Many of your people can never leave the SW.

Again , Necessity is the mother of invention.

Go and read about Philadelphia in the 1800s and early 1900s and what its like Today compared to then.

You don't know what you are saying. When the capital was shifted away from Lagos, many believed Lagos would be affected. How market?
You think if Nigeria splits hausas, ibos will just up and go like that. No, many will still maintain their operations there because of the population and geographical factors. The East and the north are not favoured geographically. Or you think someone like Dangote will just take his refinery and go. grin

Lagos State is still having hangover from the 77 years federal presence as FCT

if Nigeria divides Lagos will be a major hit!

necessity is the mother of invention

Lagos will be the shadow of itself if Nigeria divides

If Nigeria divides Lagos will still thrive. It's the financial hub of West Africa. A lot of investment has been planted there. In fact, even Ibos will find it very difficult to leave Lagos if Nigeria divides. I wonder which kind of schools you go to in the East.
you're delusional to think Lagos won't be affected

Go and check what warri was like in the 80s and early 90s those oil cooperation headquarters were there

Lagos heads the branch of almost all firms in Nigeria if Nigeria divided no country will accept any major company headquarters outside the shores of Thier country

so if everybody go their way, where Lagos go join? East, west, north??
you realise Lagos is what is today not because of the LAND the people there are what is the real deal

Lagos just like everywhere isn't just concretes, glass and metals but the people

if Nigeria divided Lagos Will be the shadow of itself

necessity is the mother of invention
Politics / Re: The South-west Will Leave Other Regions Far Behind If Nigeria Separates by Neckpresser101: 4:30pm On Apr 05
Starboytwo:
Plus Lagos nko?

it's still a shit hole! just a manageable one

Lagos isn't built by SW people alone so you people don't have right to take COMPLETE credit about it's viability it was capital from 1914-1991 that's a whooping 77 years! If you doubt the influence of what FCT does go and check Abuja before 1991

if we talk about SE we talk about the largest market in west Africa in Anambra

Huge industrial hub in Abia with another large market Ariaria market one of the largest in Nigeria

The Real estate hub of Nigeria Enugu and it's beautiful cold mountainous terrain

Imo is the educational hub of Nigeria and 4th largest economy in Nigeria

the fact two SE states sits above your O-states shows how viable their economy is

Again apart from Lagos which To fair everyone built SW is one poor region no cap

if we are to account for the states that have Igbos in them it will be bloody grin
