Since you have a basic java knowledge, you're good to go.

Head on to their website, flutter.io to get started. Select VSCode

You need android studio though because flutter depends on some things on android studio.

I think one can use intelliJ IDE for flutter, based on what I read on the website

Definitely, I already listed some of the features there as well as majority of the things it can do.

You can build for iOS and Android at the same time.
Head to their website to learn more.

Alright bro. Thanks. I already signed up for an udacity course on flutter.

One more question: can I use flutter for both design and development, or it's just a UI framework for building cross-platform apps?

Hey there everyone.

So yesterday I just released my second Android game on the Google Play Store. My brother and I developed it together, and we'd love for you to check it out.

It's called Blockhead, and it's a casual side-scrolling 2D game. You press the screen to ascend, and release to fall, while horizontal movement is automatic. The objective is to avoid the obstacles and cross the finish line on all 40 levels, and get the stars if you can, to unlock new costumes.

I'd love if you guys could download and play it and tell me what you think. Don't hesitate to drop a rating too.

Here's the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Indecyfer.Blockhead

Thank you.

Nice one boss. Keep the ⛳ flying

Hey there. I'm so glad you're interested in learning how to write android apps!

First off, I was using a laptop of 4gb, Intel Pentium and 500gb internal memory. I was able to write code for android using this. Android development over the years have evolved that with JavaScript, C#, java, you can now write android apps. After my laptop crashed due to hard disk problem, I switched to a core i5 7th gen, 8gb ram and 1tb. They were both able to serve me well.

I'd recommend Flutter because you can write your code in vscode as well as the fact that it's from Google themselves. The installation of android studio is needed though but you'd hardly ever use it.

To start, you'd need to visit flutter.io then you'd need to install android studio, vscode, download the flutter SDK.

Kindly head on to flutter.io to learn and read about how to get started. Once you have the tools up and ready, you can head on to udacity to watch their flutter tutorials.

You can pm me for more details as well as for a link to download some high grade videos.

Good luck and wishing you the best, hopefully I'd start the flutter community here on nairaland soon if it doesn't exist yet.

Hello bro, I'll like to learn more about flutter. Can you throw more light, please

Politics / Re: Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala With Mark Dorsey, Twitter CEO by NeduDchamp(m): 10:27pm On Sep 15, 2018

At Twitter in New York with CEO Mark Dorsey.

We listened to Chef Jose Andres, President of Think Food Group talk about how, with the help of a group of volunteer chefs, he used his cooking skills to propel a massive humanitarian effort feeding up to 150,000 people a day in Puerto Rico in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria.

Read his book "We fed an Island" @chefjoseandres. Many of the hungry people got to him through Twitter! What an inspiration!

Always think of how you can use your God-given skills for the greater good! Twitter is good; let’s tweet for good!

Well done OP, but twitter CEO is Jack Dorsey, not Mark Dorsey

Got the LeEco Le 2 X526 for wifey and just successfully installed the full Pixel Experience on it.

Imagine getting a 3+32GB Google Pixel for just 31.5k. 100% Vanilla Android. If you know... you know.

This is the best phone to buy at this price point. The user experience is unbelievable.

The phone is extremely fluid and everything works.

Won't be bad business to buy 10 units of this, port Google Pixel Experience on them and sell for 40-45k each. grin

Welcome to the team, bro.

Hello bro, how's the ROM- the Pixel Experience? Is it stable enough. How does the camera function with it, does it still support 4k video recording?

How about the IR blaster, is it also functional with this ROM

I want to take my test in the night, around 2am-5am, hope am safe?

Hello,
The video is simply a sort of introductory interview. You're asked to do five major things:

1. Briefly introduce yourself to prospective employers

2. Discuss a time when you were faced with a major obstacle (work or otherwise) and how you overcame it?

3. Describe the work environment or culture in which you are most productive and happy?

4. Drawing on your work experience or personal life, can you give an example of a time when you wanted to give up, and chose not to?

5. How do you react when asked to do something beyond your capabilities?

Please rate the Battery and the camera,
Does the phone support notification light??
How fast is the quick charging support

Battery is decent. Can last a full day on average use. About 6 to 8 hours on 3G/4G

Camera is above average. I wouldn't compare it with a recent iPhone, but it clearly beats many similarly priced devices with ease. It isn't so good in poor lighting conditions.

Yes, there's a notification LED at the top

I am yet to try the quick charging feature. Normal charge isn't bad, takes about an hour and forty-five minutes to go from zero to a hundred percent.

Here's a photo of the adapter

who recently bought a leeco product from jumia here, how was their delivery and condition of the product especially the ones from overseas, because these their payment before shipment is scary unlike pay on delivery

I bought the Lee le 2 about a month ago. Paid on Monday and received the package the next day. Everything was complete except for the fact that I had to charge the phone cause its battery was flat dead on arrival.

Still using the phone now (typing this post with it) and no problem whatsoever, at least for now

Yassss

I use the Le 2 and I have a Glo LTE SIM, but no 4G. So I don't think the phone supports all 4G bands in Nigeria. I may be wrong though.

My Ikeja experience

I had just trekked from New Garage, Ikeja to the railway crossing where I mistakenly hit somebody. As courteous as I was I decided to look back and say sorry.

Unfortunately, the sorry was the beginning of story. The guy I hit was an "agbero", whom I could have avoided if I had taken another way (perhaps the meeting was fated).

As I turned and said my apology, I saw his face and something within me just nudged me that this guy is trouble.I neglected the prompting and continued my walk to where I would get a bus heading to Oshodi. Before I could get to the pedestrian bridge, the tables turned as my victim became my assailant and I became his victim.

He came by my said and started telling me that he's a good guy and that was the reason he left. Still following me I told him alright, thank you, but he continued the March with me until at the foot of the pedestrian bridge he came all out and grabbed me by my belt and in the twinkle of an eye took out my phone. Disappointingly for him, I felt it and hit his hand at that instant forcing him to drop my phone on the floor. I picked up the phone which was now scattered on the floor, and thanks to the robustness of the phone (Tecno Y3) it survived the onslaught.

After picking up the phone, I walked to the bridge with my assailant now accusing me of hitting his arm and his phone while onlookers did nothing. I briskly ascended the bridge and made my way to the bus stop. That day I almost lost my appetite.

Note: I was born and bred in Aj.

Even if the phone is not in a bag the screen should at least be covered with a nylon. Also for the fact that the pack didn't have a seal, bros return that shii. And by the way you should have opened it right in front of the dispatch rider.

Yes, there was a nylon and the phone is working quite well.

The phone did not come in a transparent bag, and there was no seal on the leeco package.
