The phone did not come in a transparent bag, and there was no seal on the leeco package.

Good day guys, I just got the Leeco le 2 today after ordering yesterday. I have a few questions and will appreciate your responses.
First, is it normal for the phone to have a flat battery on arrival. I couldn't power it on, only after charging it could I.

Secondly, the skin on the eui 5.8 looks a bit like stock Android, I mean the App drawer has a white background and lacks the Leeco apps like LeVid and so. Is it normal.
Please, guys help me.

Lastly, it might seem out of place but I still have to ask: is it normal to receive the phone after only one day of ordering. I mean isn't it supposed to be shipped, which takes a while. Hope I'm not getting a refurbished phone.

The stock ROM on the Leeco le 2 is eUI which is based on Android 6.0.
That aside (software updates) , is there any other reason why you think I shouldn't go for the Leeco.

Leeco is dead because no regular updates.
So my advice go for the redmi

Thank you sir but there are stable custom ROMs for Leeco phones which sounds great to me. There are even MIUI custom ROMs for the Leeco le 2.

Or do you think I won't enjoy the custom ROMs ROMs experience on the le 2?

Pls guys I also stand in a similar position, I want 2 make a choice between Leeco le 2 and Xiaomi redmi 5a as they fall in the same price range.

I've seen and read reviews about both phones, and prefer the Leeco due to its better features but I fear for its durability as users have complained about its fragility.


The Xiaomi on the other hand is a compact device - which I love - but is lacking some features found in the Le 2.



So, guys pls any advice will be appreciated.

its not that thick(battery is a major cause of the thickness), bezels too ain't bad(it makes the phone kinda big)... The phone's build is just OK, not too fancy bt just fancy enough

you seriously shouldn't expect a Marathon mini to have an iPhone design.

Just saying cos of the dimensions I saw i.e 135mm x 65mm x 11.2mm. Although I haven't held it yet, but som1 here posted that its not as thick as d Gionee M2 and it got me thinking.
