yea, it isn't strange to feel that way. Every Pro u see speaking Codes was once in your stage. Just relax, define your goals and work your way to the top . its a step by step matter. Do check the book Jacob05 recommended, it will really get u started with Programming in general !

Note: read less and Practice more !
thanks bro.

It seems you are a beginner programmer. I will advice you get a good c++ book as Jacob Suggested. These things are not as complex as you think.
C++ is not a language u rush over. just take your time and learn the damn Beast !
yeah, i guess so...... I am afraid i am going to spend the better part of my time trying to grasp c++, and by the time i reach......yrs i def must an expert. I tried reading the deitel and harvey text book, but man, i could not understand the jargon, but at least it got me thinking otherwise, anyways thanks bros.

See this:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Console_application

I know dt the ofstream object is a stream. it is like an interface btw a program and and a device. When u write with ofstream u are not writng to a devicr. You are writing to a stream. Files and printers are examples of devices.

POST EDIT:
Download and read ; C++: The Complete Reference by Hebert Sheildt 4th Edition.

U can also check my post in my main nairaland account - mnairaland
ok thanks bro. But when i read the link, being a beginner programmer as i am, i feel like ms word is a type of console application. Please help me understand there, thank you.

Files(i.e. disk),console, and printer are examples of devices.

cout writes to stdout by default which is d console. It can be redirected to write to any other output device.

If u wish to write to a device and retrieve later dn dt device must neccesatily be a file.
thanks bro. But i did not understand the part about stdout being a console because i have seen some programs in c++ where stdout is not used. Exactly what is the purpose of this console (stdout). I also don't understand the dn dt, are they standard c++ words or its your way of writing then that, because strictly speaking i have seen somewhere dt was used as a standard c++ word just like int. So furnish me please. Bros, i have seen and respect that you are a progressive c++ expert, and thank you for that.
ProgrammingRe: Check In: Submit Your C++ Questions Lets Solve by nembudziya(m): 12:45pm On Jul 05, 2015
gmus:
solution.

1. Declare an ofstream object
2. open d object using d printer name in place of a filename.

3. write to d printer as u would write to a file.

In general to write to a printer, replace d filename/fileapath to a printername/printerpath in a file writing program.

So a general solutn is this:
Write program that writes to file but use the printer name/path in place filename/path.

POST EDIT;
Here is a good example:

What kind of networking job? Wired? Wireless? What's the goal of the networking? I think that should be pretty easy.
it was going to be an easy job for some one knowledgeable. It was wired. A company offered me to do networking for their internet cafe to the server. They also needed me to configure the network for them. Bros, i only have a theoretical background on network topologies, but do not know anything about practical networking. Guy, I lost money because i did not know where to start. I spent the rest of the day very stressed, and hence could not go through the day with the full dictates of my mind. Life is unfair, bros, and i am thinking of taking my life. Pls help.

@nembudziya
Cloud computing can be several computers working together from a remote location. SaaS (Software as a service) is a form of Cloud computing, where you do your stuff on a website from your browser and the rest is handled by the company's data center. You might have noticed that Dropbox, ICloud, Google drive and Onedrive are called cloud storage companies They are examples of cloud computing. You don't have to store your data at home. They let you store it in the "Cloud". Microsoft's online office programs are called cloud programs. Gmail and Yahoo Mail are examples of cloud computing they let you check your mailbox via a browser and not through a mail client on your computer, like Outlook. A hotel can choose to store their hotel activities on their computer via a Hotel manager program or store it in the cloud so it can be accessible from anywhere in the world. That way, Oga will always know what is happening in his or her hotel.

Need more explanation? It's okay to ask me.
i am still very behind, bros believe you me. I was tasked to do a networking job, today, and i did not even know where to start. In that event, i lost money because there was money attached to it. I will get back to trying to understand of the meaning, tomorrow. Computing life can be very stressing, i am telling. God bless you.

Why not do a search on Cloud computing?
thank you for your kind hospitality to this question. Well, i do not know much on cloud computing. I need someone to explain to me what it is. The first time i came across the noun as a technical jargon was when i was using ZbigZ.com to download some torrents. But, strictly speaking, i do not even know what it is, and what it means. Please enlighten me what it entails, thank you. I would like to learn more about it.

Doing c/c++ in database connectivity isn't something u do in a day, lol its not like taking off ur gfs panties.
Connecting to database in c/c++ is using some libraries using mysql connector in c++ then you do something like #include mysql++ in your code

By the way, have you taken your time to look into youtube? If you haven't kindly do yourself a favour and look thru. Then write a code and where u have problems paste here, someone with a good heart will help u.

Have a good day.
thank you, ill look into it, and give it a try.

Also was checking online and saw this site u can in learning online http://www.learncpp.com/

But i still say u better off learning c# it ain't too hard to comprehend since u have c++ background, a more modern language. Anyways yr choice
ok, thanks. I will look into it, though i would have sufficed in you presenting straight simplified code on linking it up. You know i am still learning this programming thing. I did a certain program in 2012 but still struggling to make it run other tasks, like saving, and printing a receipt, but, bro i am still struggling, and I am almost losing hope. I love C++ but the thing is i do not have the technical know how, on exceptionally working on it. Now if i hear linking up c++ which i know, but don't fully know, with ms sql server, which i am a few weeks old on, i feel hopeless. Now, i am hearing of mysql++, man, things are hard i am telling you. But thank you, bro for bringing some bit of light on whats it all about.

Guy u can connect to any DB using c++ (google is yr friend) but u know u need to use a language to pull the data from the database to present to yr users. Learning vb.net or c# ain't hard since u say u knw a little c++ the learning curve wil nt be much.if u want smethin u gat to try all yr possible best to get it , i mean all these tutorials are free online, wat more do we want, people took time to pay for hosting and bandwidth to put it online all we gat do is learn,

So guy stop whining if u knw u nid it get off yr ass and learn, research and be better, watsapp was sold for $19 billion, before person sell app for 19 billa dem tell u say na beans so guy u have the tools free online go research and get it. U can start from here http://www.homeandlearn.co.uk/index.html to get c# and vb.net tutorials used with mssql database, i tell u if u are consistent and persevere u can learn this thing sharply.

If u still cannot learn on yr own contact me i will put u through if u are in lagos.
i still got a long way to go, dawg, but what a man's got to do's what a man's got to do. Man, if i say i am in trouble, i am in real big treouble. Now, here's the simplicity of what i know in c++, which basically says a lot about how far i have to go before i get a grasp into putting code into a db. Ok, #include <iostream> using namespace std; int main () { cout<<" i do not know what to do from here"<<endl; return 0; } i have inscribed a basic c++ code, but when i reach here, i get so confused about what command i have to put to savem create a db, retrieve data info, printing and so on. I gey so stressed if someone would tell me that this is so easy, and i basically feel powerless. What i know for sure is that, if i can be able to make my program to save, and retrieve data, i'd have creaated a database system because by saving data, we are basically saving it for storage purposes. And if we can retrieve the saved data, it means that we have actually created a db whereby we store info, and we retrieve for use. Guy, if you can be able to aid me on how to save, and retrieve data in c++ using command line code, i'll thank you exceedingly. I have tried using google to seek the way, but now, google will give results of how you can do it in c, i am left dumbfounded as to where to start from. I tell you man if one can master programming, they have part of the world in their arms. Thank you for your overbounding kindness in this one matter. Looking forward to your response to this intertwinung posse. Thank you.

Microsoft SQL Server is a Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) developed by Microsoft. It is a highly scalable product that can be run on anything from a single laptop, to a network of high-powered cloud servers, and anything in between. Of course, by "anything", it still needs to satisfy the usual hardware and software requirements, but these requirements are reasonably modest, considering what SQL Server is capable of.

SQL Server is the number 1 most-used database in the world. Well, according to Microsoft it is! But they could be right - it's certainly widely used.

read more and learn mssql server database here http://www.quackit.com/sql_server/sql_server_2014/tutorial/about_sql_server.cfm

erm if u wanna create a school database system for storing fees payments, and retrieving data u go need learn not only MS SQL SERVER but a programming language with which u will use to pull the data (possibly c# or vb.net)
i thought that everything required of making the aforementioned database is there and hence was no need to do some programming like, c# or vb.net. Is there not a software that does entering data and information required of a db without necessarily having to program? Pls help
