Politics / Re: NBA Rules: Lawyers Sign Petition To Strip Malami Of SAN Title by Neotech: 3:37pm On Sep 14, 2020
This petition is an invitation to greater pounding of the NBA by the holder of the powerful office of Attorney General.
It is better to settle the disagreement on the table rather than creating more.
Education / Re: Muric's Position On Hijab Saga In International School Ibadan by Neotech: 6:14pm On Jul 09, 2019
The issues involved here demands plain fair - mindedness. Almost every Yoruba family today has a mixture of Christians and Muslims and even traditionalists. Yoruba don't put the issue of faith first when it comes to rights, we exhibit tolerance with affection. Do you think Chief Bode George will be happy if his grand niece ( her muslim sister's grand
daughter that said the prayer when Chief Obasanjo paid him a reconciliation visit the other day) is denied access because of a dressing mode that is not indecent but typical of her faith? No, he won't. Same with Chief Obasanjo who has a large number of hijab. - wearing students at his Bells (college & university).
I have to use these two individuals because they symbolize the understanding of the issues at stake:

Faith and Federalism.

They have served Nigeria and know that if you can not tolerate hijab and turban forget getting to the top. It is similar to the UN. You've got to see everyone first as a human being with his own peculiarities.
Recall that the colonialists/missionaries introduced this discrimination successfully in the south because they met a weak islamic faith there unlike in the north.
The colonialist met the Yoruba heavily engrossed with in traditional faiths and sparingly with the Islamic faith.
The early Yoruba Christian converts used the exclusion principle to their advantage. Who would not?
It is obvious because the colonialists who did not bar hijab in the north would not do it in the south. So it was the black man's deed. Do you know that in the north both muslim and non - Muslim use hijab. If your sister or daughter is comfortable wearing a headscarf that portrays her faith, why get worried?
Now on the issue of federalism:
ABU .International School, Zaria, accepts hijab why not UI.international school, Ibadan.
As far as Nigeria remains a federation I don't see the hijabites. not winning.
Remember the Law School hijab graduate that was denied? What happened later.

Education / Re: Faith Odunsi Smashes Cowbellpedia Records, Answers 19 Questions In 60 Seconds by Neotech: 3:40pm On Sep 20, 2018
Cowbell Maths annual competition has proved beyond any doubt that schools located in Ota, Ogun State, are of the highest standard in Mathematics/ Sciences in Nigeria. The evidence? Students from schools in the area have been regular/recurring national champions namely: Iganmode Grammar School, Ota ( the first to win the Laurel, and it had won it at least three times); next is Ota Total Academy, Ota (more than 3 times) ; and of course the current champion The Ambassadors College, Ota (also had won it more than 3 times). These are final winners. Many of the schools get onto the final stage in one category or the other annually at least at State level. Watch out for this year's result, you'll be my witness.
Politics / Re: 2019: How Ambode's Quarrel With Tinubu Started (FULL STORY) by Neotech: 4:23pm On Sep 12, 2018
You can't fault Jagaban's reasons: 1. Thousands of waste managers are still crying over how Ambode ruined their business- resulting in unemployment, indebtedness and filthy environment. 2. Transporters are praying that he should not get them out of business because the after-effects will be unimaginable.
Finally,it appears that the party prefers someone who will improve the established systems and institutions. More importantly someone who will not make the people poorer.
