I deleted them because I felt they gave too much away at the time.

Yes my career is in tech. Glad you're interested in starting out in tech. How and where you start depends on what you want to ultimately accomplish and specialize in. The most important thing is to just start! Some of the fundamental concepts carry within the different specializations.
