On May , Facebook announced a new addition to its social networking site, called Verified Pages. The company announced the development this way, and the image here (from Facebook.com) gives some visualization of what a Verified Page would look like. Facebook has made an improvement by adding Verified Pages; however, the way it’s been done is too similar to the way it’s done at Twitter. (In 2009, Twitter introducedVerified Accounts, which is also marked by a small blue check mark.) Due to the high number of fictitious accounts created for prominent figures in our society, Verified Pages on Facebook are long overdue. Nonetheless, it is important to note (as TechCrunch’s Darrell Etherington did) that Facebook introduced a different verification system last February, which allowed prominent figures to verify their account using a valid ID. As of today, Facebook has not shared with users how it will go about ensuring that accounts are official, but it is known that users may not ask to be verified. Look at the examples here…the Twitter blue check mark and the Facebook blue check mark look pretty similar, eh? see more @ http://mobilezanga..com/2013/06/facebook-introduces-verified-pages-and.html#more |

Tonto Dikeh Falls On-Stage At Kukere Concert In London Our dear darling Tonto Dikeh co-hosted Iyanya’s Kukere London Concert. And at some point during the show, Tonto fell flat on her face! And here’s how it happened! *biggg winksss* Tonto Dikeh had ALL the signs that she was either high on alcohol or drugs when she came on stage to perform last night. I was told. Her song was playing for her to perform but she kept telling the crowd that she can’t wave because she did not shave her armpit. Then she put her hand in the armpit, staggering and shouting, that when she was in America they showed her love. All this time she was supposed to be performing, next thing she fell! The MC had to get her off the stage, reportedly because they realised she was messed up.. She kept staggering and shouting. She has however denied that she was high, see her tweet; http://www.veryxclusive.com/2013/06/xclusive-tonto-dikeh-falls-on-stage-at.html#more |

BBM) to Android and iOS, but it turns out the Canadians are aiming higher – they want BBM to be available out of box. "There is interest from other handset makers" says BlackBerry COO Kristian Tear, but he didn’t say which ones. Apple is certainly not one of them (it has a competing service, iMessage), Android manufacturers will be easier to convince (except maybe Samsung, which has ChatOn). While BBM has been falling out of popularity recently, it's still used by 51 million users for an average of 90 minutes a day. The monthly user count is only a little higher – 60 million – which means that most people who have BBM use it heavily. Android and iOS users won't get the full BlackBerry Messenger experience, not at first anyway. There will be chats (including multi-user chats), Groups and voice notes. Voice and video calls, channels plus screen sharing are expected to be added later on. By the way, the Android and iOS apps should land in their respective app stores on June 27 this year http://mobilezanga..com/2013/06/bbm-to-come-preinstalled-on-some.html |

Special forces drafted from the Nigerian Military, yesterday night, raided a residential building-cum-warehouse packed with sophisticated military hardware at Bompai, a highbrow area located within the precinct of police and immigration headquarters in the troubled northern commercial city. The warehouse belonged to an alien from the Middle East and located in Gaya Road, Bompai GRA and within a striking distance to the Police state headquarters and the headquarters of the Nigerian Immigration Service. The areas where the security were beefed up are those presence are identified flash point such as Kurna Asabe, where two Igbo businessmen were reportedly killed last Friday by Boko haram gunmen. Hotoro –Maimariri , Yankaba and Badawa all suspected hide houses of gunmen. Security sources close to the military told Vanguard, on condition of anonymity, in Kano that the highly coordinated military operation was carried out following a tip-off by a suspect under investigation. The elite troops were said to have stormed the residence, picked up the occupants and in the ensuing search on the suspected bungalow, large cache of arms and ammunition were discovered in the sitting room and some wardrobe in the house. The military source revealed that, “large quantities of the military hardware were buried in the house, while some were neatly concealed. It took a trained officer in counter-terrorism to discover the hidden mass weapon of war.” Recovered 1] 40 air-to-surface missiles, 2] 50 cluster bombs, 3] 200 rocket-propel launcher, 4] 8 AK-47 rifles, 5] 200 military hand grenades, 6] uncountable number of live ammunition 7] certain military hardwares deployed to destroy Armoured Personnel Carriers (APC). The weapons of war were evacuated to the headquarters of the 3rd Motorised Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Kano, alongside four other arrested nationals of the same Middle East extraction, in connection with the shocking discovery. The source stated that preliminary investigation revealed that “three countries have been indicted and the military high command is working to ascertain the culpability.” Eyewitness account: However, a civilian eyewitness, who lives in the neighbourhood, said he counted over “300 AK-47 riffles and I saw soldiers packing ammunition using shovels into some large containers from the house.” The account gave the name of the suspect as one Ta’al, who appeared to be in his late 50s, stressing that “Ta’al had been staying in the house for the past five years alone without his family, and lived a secluded life as he hardly associate himself with people in the neighbourhood. “The suspect hardly received visitors and drives a white Toyota Hilux, and doesn’t keep late night.” http://www.veryxclusive.com/2013/05/xclusive-jtf-uncover-armoury-in-kano-in.html |

Dunno where to post this, but am posting it here , mods come take charge!!! Woman Who Lost Both Arms And Legs After Taking Injection For Bigger Bottom (yansh); Funny or Weird? Mum of two as detailed her story - how her quest for a bigger bottom left her in agony and led to her losing her hands and feet, as well as her buttocks. The 46-year-old former hairdresser Apryl Michelle Brown had black-market silicone injections which turned out to be BATHROOM SEALANT and she blames “vanity” and wants to warn others of the terrible dangers of such illegal treatments. Apryl said: “I’ve paid a terrible price for vanity and I’ll pay for the rest of my life. But I blame no one but myself. “I want to share my story to warn others about these so-called ‘quick fix’ surgeries. “I didn’t realise the dangers. I thought it was a harmless injection that would give me the perfect bottom. But the reality was the silicone used wasn’t suitable for humans. It was, in fact, bathroom sealant only suitable for DIY. “My body had a massive allergic reaction to it which left me at the brink of death. “I was in so much agony that, by that point, dying would have been a release. The only way doctors could save my life was to amputate my buttocks, my hands and feet.” Teased as a child about her “pancake” bum, Apryl vowed to buy a shapelier one when she was older. She said: “I didn’t know if I wanted mine to look like Janet Jackson’s or J-Lo’s. “I didn’t even know how you could do it. I just wanted a new, bigger bottom.” The moment that changed her life came in 2004, when two women walked into her successful beauty salon to get their hair done. One of them ran “pumping parties” — where unqualified practitioners inject illegal silicone into “patients” at their home. Apryl, from Los Angeles, said: “One of the women told me how she had given bottom injections to the friend who was with her. “I remember thinking it was a miracle she’d walked into my life. Her friend showed me the work she’d had done and it looked great. “In a split second I made the decision that I was going to go to this woman and let her inject silicone into my behind.” That decision nearly killed her. Apryl paid the woman, who had no medical background, around £650 for two lots of injections. Doctors later discovered the substance used was industrial-grade silicone. Apryl admitted: “I didn’t do any research. A combination of naivety, misplaced trust and insecurity led me to take this disastrous decision. “I trusted her because she seemed so professional, and I had no reason to think anything awful was going to happen. “She carried out the procedure in her daughter’s bedroom. She assessed my bottom and said, ‘You’ll need three or four sessions to get the result you want’. “The first procedure took an hour. I remember asking, ‘Is it meant to be so painful?’ and she said, ‘Yes’. It felt like it was squeezing through my nerves.” Within weeks Apryl returned for her second treatment. She said: “After going through it again I had an epiphany. As I left her house I thought, ‘What am I doing? I have no idea what she’s putting in my body’. “I never returned. But though I didn’t know it then, my life had already changed forever.” Over the next two years the area where she’d been injected became hard and the skin blackened. Apryl, mum to daughters Danye, 22 and Courtney, 21, said: “Within a few months of the second injection my buttocks began to harden. I knew something wasn’t right. But shame stopped me seeking medical help. As time went on it got worse as the skin blackened. I developed hard lumps. Then the searing pain started. I had to tell my doctor what I did. I was so ashamed.” Apryl spent the next four years in constant pain. Two surgeons told her it was too dangerous to remove the silicone. She said: “I was in so much agony I became a regular at hospital asking for medication to ease what was like a combination of a migraine, childbirth and toothache localised in one area. In February 2011 a surgeon operated unsuccessfully. Apryl developed a hole in her buttocks — thought to be the trigger for an infection that in June was nearly fatal. She said: “I was 24 hours from dying. I didn’t think of leaving my family. It was a relief I’d finally be free of pain.” Doctors put her in an induced coma for two months while performing 27 surgeries — starting with amputating her buttocks — and doing extensive skin grafts. She said: “They saved me but gangrene set into my hands and feet. I was brought out of sedation shortly before I became a quadruple amputee. “My hands looked like those of a dead person. I knew then I was going to lose them.” She added: “At first you try to register your new limbs. The real comprehension comes when you start to live this new life. “I had dark times. I cried a sea of tears. I had to face the fact I’d lost my hands, feet and buttocks because of complications from bottom injections. I was overwhelmed by shame and guilt... all because I wanted a bigger bottom. “I was six months in hospital. By the time I was discharged I was determined to turn this terrible thing into something positive. “I decided to do a triathlon. I told myself if I could achieve that I could do anything. “I took my first steps again by the end of 2011. I built up to training six days a week, learning to walk, cycle then swim again using my residual limbs. “I’d be crying in pain but I’d push through it. And six weeks ago I did it — completing a three-mile walk, ten-mile cycle and a 150-metre swim. “When I crossed that finishing line with my family cheering me on, I cried tears of joy.” She added: “I haven’t sued or sought compensation. I just want to move on. There are things I miss dearly — I’ll never be able to do my girls’ hair or feel sand between my toes. “But I believe I survived to share my story. “I want to warn others of the dangers of black-market surgery. We were born whole, perfect and complete. “My greatest message is we have to learn to love and accept ourselves for who we are.” I know for sure, beauty comes from within, but she learned her lesson the had way, xo what do you guys think? Omotola Jalade Ekeinde is one actress that remains sexy and classy despite being a mother of four grown up children. She competes easily with most single stars in the razzmatazz industry in Nigeria, commanding a large number of secret male admirers. In an industry, where many male fans would do everything possible to get any female celebrity they admire, there is no doubt that Omotola would not be left out of such. Though not in the news with romance scandals, it is very certain that the queen of Nollywood and one of the 100 most influential people in the world, according to TIME Magazine, had been in situations, where she would have to chase male admirers away. Speaking on the issue, the glamorous actress admitted that she has male fans, who want more than friendship from her, adding that she deals with the issue in her own way. According to the delectable Ondo State-born movie superstar, “when you (men) hang around for a while and you don't get anything, you will decide what you want to do (laughs).” She added that, “I don't think you have to run from anybody, nobody is going to come and rape you. So, it is not a life or death situation. It is as simple as two adults, three friends, and after a while, if one has an ulterior motive, understanding that it's not going to happen, then you can handle it with maturity. “So, they will decide whether to stick around or go away. Why do we have to fight in the process?” Meaning he's so optimistic not pessimistic on the people think and feels...... 11 BASIC RULES FOR NEW RELATIONSHIP… The following eleven points I’m going to state are extremely simple, yet people sometimes forget them: Xo lets go down low 1.) ASSIGN BOUNDARIES: if you’re a big fan of PDA (public display of affection), make sure you create a line and not cross it. Whether you hold hands, kiss, lie on her lap, just do one of these and don’t make it go overboard. 2.) PERSONAL SPACE IS IMPORTANT: Make sure both of you give each other appropriate personal space. You’re in a relationship, it doesn’t mean you start creeping each other out. 3.) LOYALTY IS KEY Don’t play hide and seek with their feelings. If you have done something wrong, come clean. 4.) A CLEAN PAST Let’s face it, everyone makes mistakes at some point in their lives. So when you start a new relationship, make sure it’s new in every aspect. Clear your past in front of your partner, so if some day some of your past demons wake up, nothing would decrease the love between you two and it will also strengthen their trust in you. 5.) DON’T CHEAT You’re probably saying to yourself “What sort of slowpoke would cheat?”. You’d be surprised. 6.) KEEP IT IN THE BEDROOM. Every couple fights. Some fights end quickly. Some take time. Regardless of how long they go, you need to keep it between the two of you. Do NOT involve friends and family. It’ll only make you two drift apart from each other in the long run. 7.) ONE SPECIAL DAY Keep one day for the two of you. It could be thrice a month or four times a week, depends on you. But define a day for you two when cell phones are turned off, no work talk, no family talk, just the two of you spending some much-needed quality time together. 8.) BE FRIENDLY Get to know each others’ friends. It never hurts to get involved in their hangouts if they want you to. 9.) LITERAL DATES You need to remember each others’ birthdays. And the anniversary is important too. Celebrate each of these events with your full commitment and effort. 10.) KEEP IT SIMPLE This one is especially for the ladies. Ladies, people love you, but you need to SAY what’s on your mind rather than telling them “It’s Okay” when it’s really not. Keep it simple. 11) COMMUNICATION The last but not the least, for a relationship to be spontaneous, both is must always open room for communication to flow. Even if all is not going well just make sure channel of communication is opened to both, A wounded relation can even heal itself with this So while don't you go out their and make someone special happy? , good day & thanks for reading..... My name is Cynthia Joseph, am 17 years old and i would like to share my jamb story with you guys, so other people will not be deceived as i was deceived I wrote jamb last year while i was still in ss3 and i got 204, i was just testing my ability so i did not take the jamb serious when my dad saw the result he said wow.. am sure my baby would make 250 next year. This year jamb exam was to hold on April but due to the fact that i was at home after my waec i have started reading and preparing for jamb since December 2012, My course is economics and i was sitting for maths, English, commerce and economics. I read my commerce and economics text book 6 times before the jamb examination. And i attended jamb lessons to support myself in english and maths. A day to the exam i was very confident that i would murder all the questions that will come out in jamb and yes i did but to my greatest disappointment i go 182. I checked my result in 3 cyber-cafe because it was so hard for me to believe it was my result, i cried and cried but the crying did not change anything. My parents were not disappointed they were just surprised that i got that score but they said its God's doing that i should wait for next year.. That was the saddest sentence i have ever heard in my life. When my neighbor check his own he scored 215, he was so shocked he thought jamb made a mistake but what made him believe it was his result was because he used CHOKES. The night before the exam we were all seated in our compound so he told me that he will not sleep tonight, i asked why and he said he his waiting for chokes i laughed and said 'do you know that Jamb is the only examination that the answers don't get leaked?' I was wrong.. Out of curiosity i stayed with him so i could see the answers he was expecting, by 11pm he got English, by 2am commerce and economics entered.. He said maths was going to leak by 8am in the morning. He had a very bad handwriting so I helped him copied all the prepared answers from his cell phone to a small piece of paper when i finished i advised him not to use it that it might be wrong and how will he know that the paper types will correspond? he replied by saying 'na today' He told me to copy my own down so we can use it together i declined. If i only i could see the future i would have accepted his offer and use the prepared answers. Two weeks after the examination i came across a website www.upgradejamb..com/ When i saw the website i was shocked and i showed it to my elder brother who was a graduate he discouraged me to forget about the site, that it is against the law, he went further saying if i get caught i will spend some years in jail, but i laughed it off I read all what was written on the website and it was so perfect that i believed every word that was written there, So i called the phone number and a guy picked it up, i told him that i saw his number on a jamb site and that i will like to upgrade my jamb score from 182 to 205, he said that's not a problem and he would help me do it in 5 hours after payment. he requested for my jamb details which i sent and he told me that when i pay the money i should call him.. I was kinda happy and i decided not to tell my parents, i will use the upgraded result as a surprise to them, i brought out all my savings it was 3,500 naira i could put together so i lied to my elder bother that i want to learn how to type and the typist requested for 1,500 naira. he gave it to me immediately and said after i learn it i will be more useful to him and i will have something doing. The next day i headed to the bank and i payed the sum of 5,000 naira into his account Account Name: Kingsley Imoh Account Number: 0043751340 I called him and he said he got an alert that after 5hours i should go and re-print my result. Unfortunately when i went to the cyber cafe i was told my jamb card has been used many times that i need to get a new jamb card, i was sad because i don't know where to get the money. Actually the man selling jamb stuffs is my church member so i went to get the card on credit with the belief that when my parent see the result they will be very happy and they would pay for the card. But to my greatest surprise i checked my result and nothing changed i waited for the next day checked again and i still saw my same score.. i called him and he did not picked, i sent him messages he replied saying its a database complication that i should wait for an hour and check back, i waited for two hours and checked but i still saw the jamb score, i called him but his phone was not reachable . Till now his phone is not reachable it was that moment i realized i have been scammed. I took the courage and i told my parents what happened. i showed the the website and they said its not my fault that even if they were the one they would fall for it. So they paid for the jamb card and enrolled me into a computer school and i apologized to my elder bro for lying to him. Its not like i want a refund or something. I just want people to know that this upgrading stuff is not real and i wish someone can caught the owner of that site and lock him up cause i believe i am not his only victim and i will not be his last. Thanks for reading and you all can ask me any questions you like but no insults please. check out the website www.upgradejamb..com/ And see if you won't fall for it http://www.veryxclusive.com/2013/05/sad-story-of-girl-who-got-scammed-when.html |
