Prince Harry against the advice of his family to wait at least two years ( to enable him get to know his then girlfriend properly) proposed to her after about 6 months of them dating and living two continents apart. In other words, they only spoke on phone and saw each other very infrequently because she was living in Canada and he was living in the UK.
Because his family especially his brother told him to wait for awhile instead of rushing to marry Meghan, Harry has been having beef with his whole family. After marrying Meghan on several occasions she has been rude to the Royal family and codedly insults them. She made the country pay 48 million pounds to renovate a house for her and her husband and after the renovations were completed refused to live in the house and till date hasn't refunded the money.
Their actions against the Royal family include:
Meghan sticking out her tongue to Prince Charles wife when she thought no one was looking
Announcing her pregnancy on the day of the Queen's granddaughter's wedding in effect making the day about her and taking the attention away from the bride
Announcing they won't have more than two children saying people that have more than 2 are irresponsible and destroying the world knowing fully well that the Queen and Prince William hadore than two children
Meghan telling Prince Charles she would accompany him for an event and while he was waiting to pick her up then send a message she won't go again without apologising
Not allow the Queen and Prince Phillip see their great grandchild even when they knew Prince Phillip was sick and might not survive (thank God he did)
Meghan being rude and oppressing her staff. When Princess Katherine tried to tell her she shouldn't speak to people like that, people who were there said she turned on Princess Katherine and insulted her to the extent she burst into tears
Publicly told the world they were resigning from the family even after the Queen told them to please wait and not be hasty
Insulting President Trump
Saying the Queen should in effect publicly apologise for the sins of the British empire
People don't just like Meghan because she's rude to the Royal family and changed Prince Harry. She called people in the UK toxic and moved her family to the US.
She doesn't relate with members of her own family and has sued her father to court after not inviting him for her wedding. Her father hasn't even seen her son since he was born.
Says people in the world are very wasteful and should learn to save more then in the next breathe spends more than 3 million pounds to buy clothes she wore only once
That in a nutshell is why people don't like them
