Politics / Re: Open Defecation Takes Over 7.8km Along Lagos, Ogun Corridor by netmillionaires(m): 6:27pm On Aug 28
These things are done mostly by people who come to Lagos without having a destination in mind like those people who accompany trucks of goods to Lagos, the beggars on the road etc. Then bus drivers and conductors on duty. The main problem is insufficient toilet for a bloated human population.

Sometimes, we are always fast to judge. If sh1t catch you for road, you will enter bush when you can't find a toilet. That is why I always watch what I eat and also make sure to wee and poo before leaving the house. If I eat nonsense or I am sure that I am going out to eat nonsense, I take Flagyl before leaving the house so I don't have the urge to use the toilet.

These are dirty habits that makes the foreigners think of some NIGERIANs as people with a low sense of reasoning.

How can you open your yansh and be defecating in public and non public places.

Even digging a hot does not come to your mind.

At least a reasonable person will dig a hole and defecate in the bush not in gutter or roadside.

4 million dollars divided by 2.5 million people is just 1.6 dollars per person assuming that is the only diamond. 1.6 dollars is just around #2400 in naira. How long can you survive on 2400 naira?

Munzy14:

4million dollars is 10%.

Big enough to settle the life of 2.5million people.

Politics / Re: LG Election: Labour Party Secures Most Votes Without Candidate In Bauchi by netmillionaires(m): 9:00am On Aug 18
Tinubu never declared a Muslim-Muslim ticket instead it is the Obidients who turned it into a religious war by shouting Muslim-Muslim ticket to ostracise him from the predominantly Christian voters in the south... If the north is predominantly Christian, he would have selected a Christian from there.

The reason he chose a Muslim vice is the same reason Obi chose a Muslim vice from the north. If Obi had chosen a Christian vice from the north, he would have found it hard to get a vote there.

It is just a political calculation and even Obi knows that but desperation made him turn it religious. He has always used that religious tactic as can be seen in his time as the governor of Anambra where he turned governance to Catholics vs Anglicans and the rest.

Any candidate choosing a vice from the north will always go for a Muslim.

Do you understand economics or what is called inflation?

A company that leases a car to you for a certain period say 3 months must have factored in inflation expecting to make a profit of two million naira if you pay within the stipulated period. A simple way to view it is like this... If you complete the payment in 3 months, the company will have 86 million naira and since the cost of restocking is 84 million naira, the company will take 2 million profit.

Now, she dragged the payment for more than a year. If she should complete the payment now, the company might need 95 million naira to restock. Thereby making a loss of 9 million naira plus the 2 million she is yet to pay.

Ideyontop:

Exactly my thoughts, that company has done very badly and I won’t want to do business with such.

She was not running nor hiding, she even brought it to you for servicing? There’s a way to follow you customers and get them to pay. If the balance is 2 million it means you have even made profit already, it’s not as if the remaining balance is hurting your business.

On the other hand, Tonto pay them their balance please!

It is not about being able to beat someone but wisdom. I always tell people that it is not always about "I fit best am". Just ignore some people and enjoy peace.

I was going to LUTH on sallah day this year when I saw a guy carrying a much heavier guy on his shoulder while being harassed by eyewitnesses. He was sweating and looked so tired but was not allowed to drop the guy. What happened? They fought and the other guy slumped and died.

That guy will be wishing he had maintained his peace now.

So that the state government will take church money and use it to build more mosque?

It is a know fact that Christians build more churches from money given by their congragation. Mosque on the other hand get handouts from the state to do the same. Passing such law will mean state like Kano will be taking 50% of church money to build more mosque.

Curious345:
Is that redeem church ?

The NAtional assembly should pass a law empowering the state to take 50% of church and mosque earnings. That money should be used to cater for the social welfare of the poor

That he had to pour it is even more suspicious. If it is just because of the opener, he would have just open it but not pour it in a cup. It is easier to add poison in a cup of drink than in a bottle of drink without it pouring on the table.

The fact that he didn't even offer to drink the opened beer while you order for another shows he is up to something.

There are cases one don't react to. What if they attacked the husband and he died in the process. The court wouldn't accept self-defence.

As for me, my anger will almost make me have a heart attack but I will simply take my sister home. I will only have a problem with him if he dares show up to apologize and demand that my sister go back home with him. Na there we go get issue.

ElevationD:
Does she have brothers? Without delay, they should respond in kind to the beast.

One lady, her husband used to beat her to pulp and there was no one to save her. They lived in a face me I face you. One day, the lady’s junior brother arrived at 7am to visit them. At that time the husband was already beating the lady. Her brother knocked on the door, but the husband refused to open and continued the beating. The brother quickly ran out and bought a bottle of beer. He drank it, held the empty bottle and waited in front of the door. As soon as the husband was done with the beating, he opened the door to walk out. That’s how the brother landed the empty bottle of his head. See blood everywhere. From that day, the man never lifted his hands against his wife. The brother threatened him that if he ever tried it again, im own don finish. He also threatened the husband against chasing the wife away. They lived happily ever after with the brain resetting given to the husband by the brother.

It is fenced o. The location is Atan Otta, Ogun state. The funny thing is that I was discussing with someone about a man whose Cassava was harvested around 4:30 am one day, not knowing that they were already planning to rob me too before the next day's break. I saw the person's footprint because it rained the previous day.

It will amaze you to know that the people arguing in support of state are only doing it so that Lagos will not go to the Yorubas. They failed to realize that even if Nigeria is divided on the basis of state, yoruba land/states, including Lagos will always collaborate with each other.

Someone will argue that he wants his people to rule themselves yet he is busy dividing his people to spite others.

Business / Re: Lady Shares "What She Ordered" Vs "What She Got" (pics/video) by netmillionaires(m): 12:16pm On May 29
There is nothing legitimate in a scam. That "you can't call it a scam" is where the scam is. The scammer makes it that way to cover his track so that you can't get your money back. If it is not a scam, websites like Amazon and eBay will not be delisting such items. If this had happened on Amazon or eBay, I would have advised her to report the item and file a case for a refund but this is Jumia.

Amazon would have forced the seller to properly name and describe the item or in a worse case delist it. This is because no matter how careful people are, Out of a hundred people who are interested in the product, there will always be one person who falls prey to the scam. Now imagine such a seller having around 100 such listings. He might be going away with a million naira from the fraud every month.

santaclaws:

You have a point, but still, it's better for one to read the specs and be aware of these 'legitimate scams' cos you can't call it a scam at the end of the day.
Business / Re: Lady Shares "What She Ordered" Vs "What She Got" (pics/video) by netmillionaires(m): 11:28am On May 29
The specification is part of the deception. Note that the Amazon listing title specifically states that it is "Mini Plastic", "Holder" or "Key Holder". The title can't lie but there can still be errors in specifications. If the title says it is a key holder, then it must be a key holder. The Jumia title didn't specify except for the "For 43cm" in the title.

The title was carefully crafted to deceive and also avoid a refund at the same time. In short, the listing is meant to scam unsuspecting buyers. Make them feel they are buying a real bag for #12500, collect money, and then go to buy a #3000 toy on Aliexpress and deliver it to them. But include a clause so they will not win the refund case.
santaclaws:
If not for her ignorance, the dimensions were written there and she'd have known it was a miniature item...

43 cm length is about 16 inches which is just a little bigger than a long ruler. Next time, check specifications well before ordering. tongue

Edit: This is the original item information on Amazon, although she bought hers from Jumia.

Business / Re: Lady Shares "What She Ordered" Vs "What She Got" (pics/video) by netmillionaires(m): 11:15am On May 29
The bolded is exactly where the scam is. This format has been on eBay for many years. There are ebooks explaining how to carry out the scam. They put a ridiculously cheap price than the actual item but still expensive enough to pass for a toy. If the price of the original suitcase is #25000, they will set the price as #12500 to #18000 to make the buyer feel he is getting a good bargain. But this price is still more than setting the price as #2500. Which will make the buyer suspect that it most likely is a toy.

They will include the specification so that the buyer will not be able to win the case for a refund. Sometimes, the specifications will be typed in a small and illegible font to make it unreadable. EBay was aware of the scam and started to delist such items from the website.

santaclaws:

If you add the length of the luggage handle to it, it should be long enough.

It might seem like a scam, but you can't call it a scam cos they included the specifications, that's why people need to be careful when placing orders online.
