Politics / Re: QatarEnergy Not Drawn To Nigeria Despite Tinubu Visit by netmillionaires(m): 8:13pm On May 02 |
I find the rhetoric "If so and so have the financial power of Lagos, So and so will do better than blah blah" funny and a statement borne out of ignorance. People who make this narrative have no knowledge of governance is all about. The ability to generate the finance in itself is a strategy in governance which they have ignorantly admitted those they try to defend lack. Sonyboom: |

Thanks. Well noted. He has tried the bolded as recommended by a lot of people around but they are still sick. I thought about going free range. I mean taking them outside but the weather is too hot outside but cool inside. Do you think the area in the picture is free range enough? The inside is very cool. He gave them furacare antibiotic this evening. Do you think the flooring might be a problem? RainMoreDFARMS:

We don't experience heat here. It is very cool here. I have been here for three days and I don't experience heat except when I go outside in the sun. It is very cool inside so I will rule out the heat. There is no overcrowding. This room is big enough to accommodate 70 to 100 births. The birds are just 20. So I will rule out overcrowding. I observed that he is feeding them pellets which wasn't the case with the successful batch he reared last year. The pellets are too big for birds their size so I asked him to get new feeds or grind the pellets as it might get stuck in their throats. Someone suggested looking out for gaspworms. I will recommend he breed the white ones which he was successful with last year. I know one or two things about poultry like management, organizing, spacing, etc. My only issue is identifying illness and it's recommended treatment. Akinola100: 1 Like |

Where did you see jumping into business? It was clearly stated that the 20 units is just to see how things go before proceeding to invest in the business. If I wanted to jump into the business, I could have easily stocked a thousand birds and still not lamented if they all died. Every business starts from somewhere and learns through experience gained. The reason I posted this here is to gain experience so that if the birds survive from what is learned here, it would add to the treasure trove of knowledge. Even if you asked questions before starting, no one will be able to tell you everything. You have to be in it and when problems arise, you seek solutions until you have solutions to issues you have personally experienced. And I am not the one managing it, my old man does. Do you want me to ask an over 70-year-old man to go work in poultry to gain experience? Pussyisgud: 1 Like |

I am going to be as brief as possible. I just built a house for my old man around Atan Otta, Ogun state. The back is uncompleted. Last year, he bought some white birds for consumption and none died so I decided to set up a poultry for him so he can keep himself busy as he doesn't like being idle. It was agreed that he should get about 20 birds to test the water before procuring another batch for December business. He got 10 white broiler birds and someone then helped him to source 10 brown births from another source. Unfortunately, the brown birds started dying after a week one after the other. It always starts with the bird gasping for air, then it starts to doze off and die. Today alone two have died. The last bird in the video seems dead this morning. I buried one but the second was still breathing. This evening, I went to check it and noticed that it was shaking its head and trying to get up. If this one dies, it will be the third. What can I do to protect the rest and prevent the birds from dying?

Politics / Re: Akin Alabi Distributes Generators, Grinding Machines, Others To Constituents by netmillionaires(m): 1:15pm On Apr 04 |
Hmmm. Akin Alabi of Success Digest. I spent all my money on Success Digest in those days. I just wonder why our politicians like the low-hanging projects that require little to no work like buying some things and giving them out. What happens to mandate the senators and Reps to establish companies with the constituency allowance or a portion of it? The country can set a goal on what it wants to attain in the next 50 years and plan towards it. The first year's allowance can be used by each senator to establish machines-building factories and tech companies. When we have enough companies to help with developing technologies, we move to using the allowance to build agricultural companies like ultra-modern farms, processing companies, etc. We already have the companies to help with building the machines for these. The people have jobs, cheaper foods etc. In four years each politician must have build 4 companies for his/her constituency. The benefit to him will be automatic life patron of the company. Excess profit can be used to support the jobless and execute other projects in the constituency. 3 Likes |

The only reason I needed the iPad is because I need Procreate the app which is only available on iPad otherwise, I would have gone for the Xiaomi pad 6. Blackberry also used the strategy to its advantage when it started the BBM messenger. People will be like "What's your BB pin" So many people were buying BB then because of BBM and BB pin. When BBM was introduced to Android devices, BB phones died because people preferred Android but only held onto BB because of BBM. WhatsApp buried it completely as it is better than BBM. |

Ehn! Most people don't want to die because they don't know what happens after death. They don't know if after death is heaven, they dont know if after death is hell. They don't even know if heaven and hell exist. Let the Heaven appears in the sky in all its glory once in a while to remind people of their home and watch how people will long to be there. 4 Likes |

Foreign Affairs / Re: South Africa Says Citizens Fighting With Israeli Forces In Gaza Will Be Arrested by netmillionaires(m): 8:50pm On Mar 13 |
You didn't get the point. I was responding to the discussion about humanity in modern warfare. The reason Israel is winning the war in Gaza is because they aren't being lenient the way America does. Do note that despite Israel's high-handedness, its aggression is still being put in check by the modern warfare rule of not harming civilians. If the USA had gone to Afghanistan with the same brutality as seen in Gaza, the Taliban and the whole of Afghanistan wouldn't exist today. The people you walked past today claiming they are civilians might be informants or Taliban fighters. You are simply giving them the chance to study your moves and strike when you least expect them. It is that nonsense that the USA did in Afghanistan that makes some people to be boasting that the USA was chased away with its tail behind its back. You are fighting the Taliban and you are also training the Afghan army at the same time. The same army that is army by day and Taliban by night. You are romancing the Afghan people calling them innocent citizens. The same people who carry arms at night to attack you? To win a war, you have to crush everything in sight, or else the babies will grow up to wage war against you, the women will supply weapons, etc. I don't support war though. Human greed is what is causing unnecessary war. Namaster: 4 Likes 3 Shares |
