I assume u are using windows OS but u need to specify the windows version u are using. If it is windows 10 the last time i checked there is a vulnerability that uses the windows sticky key which u can use to bypass ur password, every other version i have used Linux tool(I mostly use Trinity Rescue Kit(TRK) to completely wipe off the password).
