I have a client who requests me to add following functions in his existing website.
- develop data dictionary
- add a report
- export data from the report to excel
- improve system performance
- system training
The existing one is using asp .NET and SQL server express edition. I have no idea how much I should charge. For example, for developing data dictionary, should I charge based on number of tables? Or should I charge like a fix amount? Can anyone advise me about the pricing also. I am an educator and this is my first time working as a consultant. So, I am really a newbees in this consulting field. I have no clue about market price. I would appreciate if someone would guide to get the pricing. Thanks in advanced.
