FamilyProblems With Baby Shopping In Nigeria. by Newdaddy7(op): 4:39am On Aug 25, 2013
Hi all i'm a new dad in Lagos and i just wanted to vent my frustrations with shopping for my baby here and see if others have similar issues. i'll make it brief because i want to hear the views of others. but shopping in the market is sucha pain, the diapers alone are not only costing me alot but i fear many of them may be counterfeit as i notice most of the sold call super absorbent leak oil pipeline. In addition both Jumia and Konga are selling clothes and toys that in my opinion seem like cheap china products compared to what the prices the list them for. My cousin has graciously offered to include some baby things from the UK when he's coming down for a visit but i dont have the money to order everything for the baby from the U.K. I never thief state money reach that side. And oh, formula, milk, breast pump, drugs etc i really hope these things are not fake because i sometimes wonder if they're working when the baby is vomiting or crying or reacting. Anyone have any horror stories or thoughts to share?
