It's no longer profitable. Before the price increase it was, but now it's not. You won't find anyone buying usd ecodes at profitable rates. Doubt you would even get 80% for usd ecodes. Like I stated yesterday, aed was the most profitable, it's still profitable if you can get aed at even at 460/$ (which you can) but you'd run run into card limit.

Did u omit the part i stated i can get aed card thats not on the sellers website now?

The failure to get the kyc of the op approved was what caused the limitations and inability to create an offer too.

these are the available routes to profitability even if the seller in Nigeria has increased price:

1. Create you own offer at 10 discount or even 5% discount.This is higher than the Chinese rate. (for stage 2)

or

2. Sell the bitcoin in stage 3 in a group i suggested that buy locally by pasting your offer link in the group.


THINGS TO NOTE:

1. Always collect ur Chinese buyer whatsapp number after a transaction.This is to enable him come on escrow incase hes not online.This helps in rinse and repeat.

2. You can always negotiate your min limit with ur Chinese buyer via whatsapp but never trade outside escrow so that you are protected.

3. First check the prices at stage 3 and 2 before you go and buy from the NIgerian seller. This will let you know the profitability and the limits of min quantity.This will let you decide on the quantity of cards to buy and the amount you will get.



Please note the 3rd one.If you do that, you cant lose cos you will seethe rates and profitablity before you even buy in naira from the Nigerian seller.

I write in response to the allegation by the poster that the arbitrage is not profitable and lost 6k.

You cant lose 6k when the profit normally is 2k.I might be wrong but i strongly believe the poster made a mistake along the line.This will require details so we disect it.


Now let me first explain the process for all be fore go into the calculation:


PROCESS:The arbitrage requires 3 stages:

1. stage 1: buy giftcard from the Nigerian seller at an official dollar rate

2. Sell the giftcard to a Chinese ready buyer in any of the 2 p2p websites depending on the best rate.The Chinese pay in bitcoin and that is 80% of the value of your giftcard.

The Chinese usually buy it at a 20% discount.They use the card to shop.There are better rates than the Chinese but the Chinese are ready buyers as in you dont have to wait.They can buy as many as you have.This is good for rinse and repeat.Since you have a sure Nigerian seller and a ready Chinese buyer, then you can quickly rinse and repeat.


OR


Create your own offer at 10% and get 90% bitcoin.


3. Stage 3 involves you to now sell the 80% bitcoin given to you by the Chinese locally at the high Nigerian black market rate.





THE LIKELY LOSS: Since the Nigerian seller has increased the prices this has reduced the profit and a likely loss might occur.I guess the Nigerian seller actually increased the prices due to high demand due to rinse and repeat.The google dollar rate is still 410 but the Nigerian seller now charge 468 naira.The new price of a $50 card is currently 23155naira from 20500 naira.



SO LETS CALCULATE IT: I usually tell trainees to start with $25 so that they gain confidence and later increase it.Lets use a $50 card as example which is 23155 naira (cost price)



STAGE 2: SELLING TO CHINESE AT 0.8 (that is 80%): you will get 80 times 50 = 40 dollars worth of bitcoin.


STAGE 3: SELLING THE ABOVE BITCOIN LOCALLY AT THE BLACK MARKET RATE: CURRENT PRICE IS 562 ON P2P. 40 TIMES 562 IS: 22480


LOSS: 675 NAIRA for a 50 dollar card, so a 25 dollar card will be less.


NOTE: THIS SAME ROUTE GIVES 2000 PROFIT WHEN THE CARD WAS SOLD AT 410.




NOW HERE IS THE PROFIT ROUTE:

1. CREATE AN OFFER OF 10%.


stage 2: 90% times 50 is 45 dollar bitcoin worth.


stage 3: sell to p2p at 562 current rate. that is 45 times 562.It is 25290.

PROFIT IS: 2135 NAIRA.




VERDICT: IT IS EITHER THE POSTER OMITED THIS PART IN THE TRAINING OR DID NOT DO CALCULATION BEFORE BUYING.









HERE IS ANOTHER ROUTE TO PROFITABILITY:

1. There are offers more than 0.8 on paxful but the minimum quantity is around 200 dollars.There are lots of 0.85.Someone with 25 dollar wont be able to transact with that low amount.

1. How much card dis u buy and how much was the cost price im naira?

2. Did u sell to a chinese at 0.8 rate as stated?

3. How much did u convert the btc u got from the Chinese?


As in what rate.


I will appreciate if you give these details and proofs so we analyse it publicly.

The increment will only reduce your own profit from before but there is a way to increase it from the other end.
