QUESTION 1A A household survey on typical family of four with intermediate budgeting spending revealed the following : AMOUNT SPENT FREQUENCY 81--85 06 86--90 12 91--95 23 96--100 35 101--105 24 106--110 10 Using the coding procedure, compute following **the range **mean deviation **variance **standard deviation **coefficient of variation QUESTION 1B Suppose that a coin is tossed three times. Let 'A' be the event that at least one head is obtained; 'B' the event that a head is obtained on the first toss; ''C' the event that a tail is obtained on the second toss; 'and' D' the event that no tails are obtained. Find ** (A U B) ** (C n D) ** (A U B U D) ** (A prime intersect B prime) I don't know how to type prime using symbols. I have done question 1a, I'll upload the pics so you can all check me. I'm currently on question 2 as I have little idea on how to go about 1b. There are SIX QUESTION in total and most of them are PROBABILITY problems but the lecturer just introduced the topics days ago so almost everyone is lost as to how to proceed. Pls I have until 9am tomorrow to submit the work. I'll post the other questions subsequently. Thanks. |
