A matchup of the 1999 team and a Pep Guardiola side is purely hypothetical and maybe I can let that rock.

But saying the 2008 team would destroy Pep is farcical, as Pep literally beat that exact team at first attempt in 2009, and then repeated the trick by beating the survivors of that match two years later.
