Victorian was trolled o! I saw it happen more than once. There was a particular thread where she put up her photo I think for fun and just said she was feeling herself that day. The comments and insults that followed her post that day weren't nice at all. I genuinely felt bad for her.

When I lost access to my old account as far back as 2013, I wasn't eager to open another account, I did so just last year because I could see the cesspool NL was fast becoming.

Most times I even question my own presence here. I ask myself what are you doing on a forum that is the source/origin of so much toxicity and bad vibes?

This isn't trolling. If I decide to post my picture here, it means I've decided to share my looks with strangers, while doing that... It'll be expected for people drop their views on how I look. These views will come in negative and also positive ways.

If we are to trace the thread she posted her picture, you'll also see people adoring her looks and saying positive things. Everyone must not have the same opinion about your pictures.

Late Victorian wasn't trolled. Una never see people wey don collect trolling on this forum.

I'm of the belief that you can't fight or drag someone to the mud online without their permission. Response to insults/trolls is an automatic permission to indulge in an unnecessarily shenanigans with them. I don't do that.

I don't reply or banter with people I don't fancy no matter their insults, if you see me bantering with any babe here, e fit be say na like I like the babe.

You are on point. I've always been a fan of "Prevention". If it's in your control to prevent anything that will bring hurt or damage to yourself, kindly prevent it. It shouldn't be difficult.

You can't insult people and also tell them how to return the insult, it's not done. There's no rule of engagement when it comes to brawls on social media. The earlier people understand this the better for them.

Disagreeing with someone is perfectly normal, but we all should learn some decorum while at it (myself inclusive).
I know some people on this forum can at times bring the devil out of you, as I've had my own fair share of throwing gbas gbos, but stand your ground and just move on afterwards.
There are some people here I can never respect because we have very opposite values and I don't respect their values. That's absolutely fine.
But if it becomes a case of always deliberately attacking someone online when they were alive, you can easily just ignore the thread put out about their demise or perhaps even come on there to throw more gbas gbos.

@Bolded... While trolling's definition MIGHT be relative, I personally do not think late Victorian was trolled on this forum. Anyone saying she was trolled is actually trying to achieve something best known to him/her.

Late Victorian had argument and misunderstanding with some folks here, that's not trolling. Most of her stories were regarded as fake because of its inconsistency, that's not trolling. As the matter of fact, ladies argued and fought her the more, not even guys.

We misuse the word "Troll" a lot here. The only ladies that have been trolled on this section are Arysand and Iamkashybaby, you'll understand me better if you know the aforementioned monikers. Trolling and arguments aren't the same. People troll you unprovoked to make you feel so bad, ashamed and angry. You can't claim to be trolled simply because people disagreed with your post, or because the disagreement resulted to exchange of words.

Nobody trolled late Victorian, people should allow her Rest In Peace and stop chasing clout while forming motivational speakers here.

Chii is very toxic, mannerless, disrespectful and always quick to form victim with her health when the favor is returned.

I don't know much about the cause of her deactivation, but I've seen that very lady curse and insult people here UNPROVOKED, and when they return the insult, she'll switch to her health bla bla bla!

That lady has personally and countlessly insulted me, dragged my mum just because i aired my opinion on a front page topic, but I had to ignore her because I don't like her and I don't reply mentions of people I don't like.

If any of you had loved and cared about Chii when she was active, you would have called her to order and advice her to stop attacking people, not forming motivational speakers when people insult her. That's how it should be.

Update:

Just finished speaking with her neighbour this evening. He told me they had made good progress regarding establishing contact with her family.


He said he received lots of calls from some of her extended family in Delta state and some in Lagos. They said her kith and kin in the village would be holding a family meeting to discuss matters pursuant to picking up her corpse next week from the morgue in Lagos and taking it to Delta for burial.


My purpose of creating the thread early this morning has been achieved and my work is done.


Thanks to all the Nairalanders who assisted in connecting Victorian's family with her neighbours. According to the neighbour, it was until Nairalanders weighed in that they were able to make progress.


Let's all pray for the repose of the soul Victoria Puegeren. May she Rest in Peace.
