lancee: U re correct ...I don't think FBNH got to 4 naira in 2009 crises , getting to 4 naira will be intresting ..its possible with the way the mkt is goin You can quote me. Unless FBNH declares a dividend higher than 10 kobo, FBNH will hit N2.00 OANDO on the other hand with the current results has a negative value and will hit 50 kobo if the losspersists. A word is enough for the wise. |

manie: I gave instruction for the purchase of FBN when it gets to N5.00. If FBN touches N4.00, I may consider selling one of my cars, sell a plot of land and even get a loan to buy more. FBNH is over valued at N4.00 If u try am na one chance u enter. |

angelo82: Enough of your pessimism.................Yes FBNH is exposed to non-performing loans and thats why they couldn't pay dividend because they are trying to clean up their balance sheet.................I am not happy with current trend too but the picture that you are painting is with prejudice............ It's not prejudice. FBNH is on its way to N2.00 You've been warned just like you were warned with OANDO. |

lancee: Agree with u , was able to sell half @ 4.40 , thinkin of disposing the rest @ 4.30 and come back when its down
What do u think ...cos to time this market na hard work
Mr08joy u there I bought at 4.30. Bought more at 4.25 Bought more at 4.21 Have BUY mandates to buy more at 4.17 and 4.12 today. Will only SELL when prices start going up. You can NOT time the market. The only SURE thing is that prices GO UP and GO DOWN. Have a strategy that BUYS when prices go down and SELLS as prices go up. This has worked for me for over 10 years of my foray in investing in the Nigerian Stock Exchange. Wish y'all the BEST investing. Cheers. |

smicc: thanks for the advice, but is oando, uba and zenith bank a good buy? They are all great companies. It is the buyer alone that can determine if a stock is a good buy. If you buy to sell at a profit in future it is a good buy. If you buy to sell at a loss in future it is a bad buy. Keep in mind that the prices of stocks fluctuate either upwards or downwards per time. Study the market, find your strategy and stick to it. |

Morgan Capital has the LOWEST commission rates and there's no platform without hitches. I'd rather stick with them than go elsewhere. |

taiwoliu: Just to cool frayed nerves caused by d raging bear.. ************LAFFS************ THIS IS STOCK MARKET AND 419. There was a time in my village, a man appeared and announced to the villagers that he would buy monkeys for N5,000. The villagers seeing that there were many monkeys around, went out to the forest and started catching them. The man bought thousands at N5,000 and as supply started to diminish, the villagers stopped their effort. He further announced that he would now buy at N8,000. This renewed the efforts of the villagers and they started catching monkeys again. Soon the supply diminished even further and people started going back to their farms. The offer rate increased to N20,000 and the supply of monkeys became so little that it was an effort to even see a monkey, let alone catch it!. The man then announced that he would buy monkeys at N100,000!. However, since he had to go to the city on some business, his assistant would now buy on behalf of him. In the absence of the man, the assistant told the villagers; Look at all these monkeys in the big cage that the man has collected. I will sell them to you at N75,000 and when the man returns from the city, you can sell it to him for N100,000." The villagers squeezed up with all their savings and bought all the monkeys. Then they never saw the man nor his assistant, only monkeys everywhere!. Welcome to |
