How does having fun translate to having low self esteem? How is cuddling with a guy that is not in a relationship in the house synonymous to low self esteem? She didn't go to Tram, it was the other way around. Following your logic, does Sheba also have low self‑esteem? What about Nomy? After all, Sheba watched him cuddling with her supposed daughter and Nomy saw him flirting with Temi and Sheba and that didn't stop them from having their moments with him.

I didn’t realise Oyin had become such a factor this season until people started claiming she smashed Tram and X went up in flames because of it. I actually went back to watch the videos to satisfy my curiosity and verify the truth but from what I saw online, there’s nothing to suggest she was banged. All I saw was mild cuddling, nothing more.

All the ladies in the final truly deserve their spots. They’ve worked tirelessly to get here and their growth shows. I can’t say the same for the guys. Apart from the eccentric Tram, the rest feel like sob stories. Ricky has been lackadaisical and lazy, Aikou remains painfully boring and socially awkward and Barry still struggles with confidence. Their journeys just don’t measure up.

I get it that Tram has been a difficult housemate, probably making fans favorite uncomfortable at one time or the other. That being said, there's no justification for physical violence in Biggie’s house, it is not just against the rule, it makes the house unsafe for people and breeds toxic environment.

The irony is people appearing supportive of over the board and total lack of self control displayed by Kievo. If Tramp was as physically involved in the fight as Kievo, just for a second imagine what the outcome would have been. Maybe they both would be in the hospital bed treating fractures and dislocation by now.

Good enough he's been disqualified and I hope Tram will press charges of being physically assaulted to the point of death against him after the show.

If after watching this full video of how it all happened and you still support Oyin, you're a big fool and one of the problems we have in this country.

The number of pages a season’s thread garners is not in my opinion a reliable metric for measuring its quality or how entertaining the housemates in that season are. The reduction in the number of pages has very little to do with the housemates themselves.
If 10/10 season were to be in the early era of bbnaija, that season with the way they outdid themselves will get nothing less than 6k pages.

We're seeing viewers’ fatigue and a general lack of interest driven by factors outside the housemates’ performance. The franchise as a result is losing traction at a geometrical progression.

Like most global brands, BBNaija reached its peak and has since begun to plateau. This is natural business cycle that only a few brands in history have successfully overcome. To make matters worse, there has been no meaningful innovation from the organisers. Without innovation, a brand cannot retain customers let alone recruit new ones.

Alot of things are at play here. Barry is not a strategic person, he is a pleaser. Fortunately for Aikou he became buddies with Barry long before goddesa and Nache made him visible ...

My assessment of Barry is a product of careful analysis of his personality. He appears genuine, but beneath that is someone who's deep into the game with a sharper than razor logic and rationality. I had not watched or read anything before making the post you quoted and if you had scrolled down a bit, you would have seen Harzad corroborate my point. Barry did allude to choosing Aikou based on his perception of how weak he believes Aikou is. To retriate, the safe was not out of love.

I won’t claim my opinion of Aikou is gospel truth, afterall entertainment is subjective. However, based on what we have come to recognise and attribute to entertainment in the context of BBNaija, Aikou is simply the wrong example.

Again, I believe in grace and I believe grace has found Aikou. But grace itself is an unmerited favour. Whether Aikou merits having the larger following is a question with a definite answer.

To paraphrase you, who does their winning help and why should anyone be pained about someone we will likely never meet? There is nothing to be pained about. I am only analysing him which is the essence of this thread.

This is exactly what he thinks, while explaining why he chose Aikou to Temi, he said he's scared he might not really have voters but that he's sure Temi is madly loved outside the house, he also said if he was a viewer, he'd be a fan of Temi, he doesn't know Aikou get army.

It is easy to see through these guys, while they disguise their actions and appear to be big on loyalty, their motive if one is watching with open mind is not difficult to unravel.

This is not me taking a dig at Barry, it would be foolish of him to not use his sense and play to his advantage when the opportunity to do so presents itself.

I doubt Barry saved Aikou for being his buddy, I genuinely feel the safe is from a position of strategy. It is easy to hazard a guess that Aikou is the weakest link in the house considering how socially awkward, boring and unspiring he mostly appears. To save him is to have a fighting chance and not necessarily out of love.

Unfortunately, Barry is wrong in his assessment as Aikou has been able to use his unentertaining and monotonous way of life to build an army of fans capable of winning him the prize money.

If you can’t draw a nexus between the perfume issue and my response to your post, then honestly there’s nothing more I can do to help you see it.

Multichoice isn’t running a charity, it’s a profit‑driven organisation. The kind of visibility housemates get for free on that platform is something people pay millions for and still don’t achieve. What each housemate chooses to do with that exposure is a completely different matter.

It’s the same way you can’t blame your lecturer if you don’t succeed after university. Their job is to teach you and what you do with the knowledge afterwards is entirely up to you. BBNaija gives housemates a platform, how they leverage it is their responsibility.

Many housemates actually live better lives after the show. Some start businesses, others secure partnerships and plenty build comfortable lives quietly. But because our definition of “blowing” is loud social‑media display we assume anyone who isn’t showing off online is struggling.

People can be doing very well without broadcasting it and that doesn’t make them poor.

This is about optics. Viewers may not smell them but they form opinions that can shape a lot outside the house. We’ve seen housemates who proved themselves as good chefs on the show and later became brand ambassadors for food companies. We’ve also seen power dressers leveraging their style to secure deals with fashion brands.

BBNaija is a bug platform and a smart housemate will use the visibility to position and sell themselves to potential brands. Sometimes it pays off after the show, sometimes it doesn’t but there is absolutely nothing wrong with branding and strategic positioning.

You admitted you didn’t watch the wager yet you were quick to criticise Oyin and Flora for reacting like human beings. You don’t know where their anger started or how deep it ran, but you still tried to dictate how they should manage it. What made it even more frustrating was how they refused to acknowledge Oyin’s effort. Big Brother kept rephrasing the same question by clearly giving them room to be fair, but they chose to mention everyone else and ignore her. Even Abi, when asked directly, she hid behind a collective term.

A particular hm even said Oyin’s appointment was a setup to embarrass her, so her reaction after the win was completely understandable.

False. Depending on how this election goes, the people will revolt with their votes. Even Tinubu does not believe in the phantom endorsement Adeleke gave him. We all know why Adeleke had to "endorse" Tinubu. Even with the so-called endorsement, just look at the number of persons that have needlessly lost their lives. In 2011, Osun was the only state that didn't follow Tinubu in throwing Ribadu under the bus. The people of Osun are politically independent.

No, the endorsement is genuine because it is beyond Osun election. There's another angle to it which is the business interest of Davido's father who is the single financier and "godfather" of Ademola Adeleke.

On the number of lives that have been lost so far, it is sad to say the least. However, where political interest resides, you have chaos, destruction and sadly killings in an almost failed society like ours. Trump supporters even destroyed important monuments in the US because of politics.

The issue of Osun State and Ribadu is not something to easily understand by merely looking at it from the surface, it is deeper than it appears. It was more about a team that just won a fiercely contested battle after several years of litigation and needed an identity and prove a point about their popularity in the state. The same leaders that decided on supporting GEJ gave a pass to Osun and mobilize resources for a Ribadu win in the state.

I find Temi Nkem so fun to watch. Her innocent look, playful and childish theatrics and all the silly things she does genuinely make me giggle and I don’t even mind whether she’s gaming us or simply being herself.

It is true that she cannot be blamed for experiencing cramp before the party, no reasonable person would fault her for a normal physiological process that is beyond her control. However, Biggie’s house is not a banana republic where anything goes. It is a structured house that is governed by rules and the rules are designed to prevent housemates from unilaterally deciding what is right or wrong.

The expectation of any rational mind is simply that she should have informed Big Brother about why she could not attend the party. This is a straightforward and effortless thing to do. I am genuinely surprised she did not consider it necessary to communicate this. If the situation is not addressed decisively, it will set a precedent where housemates knowingly break house rules and still expect commendation for doing so.
