Please just use what the manufacturer recommends. Pay attention to any special marking required on the oil and the weight.

Nigeria is on earth and manufacturers test their cars on different environments before releasing them, besides the job of the thermostat is to regulate engine temperature so the outside environment doesn't really matter.

If it's my car I would use full synthetic 0W40 or 5W40 with Mercedes of MANN filter.

Good evening friends, please I need your help. I applied for a tourist visa through my agent and I submitted and did biometric on 30th Nov 2017. I was told it will be ready within 25-60 working days so I went home to relax but it's over 40 working days now, so I made some enquiries and was able to track it via vsf website and it displayed YOUR VISA AS BEEN PROCESSED. The date was 5th of December 2017 . 6 days after I submitted. So I went to collect it today and they dropped a letter in my application saying "You didn't pay for Visa and biometric and resubmit your documents " which I paid online $185 through my agent and I have the print out and it was together with the other documents I submitted. Called my agent n he said he never heard of so before that he paid bla bla bla... So I don't even know what else to do... Please help.

What you wrote here is convincing, you sound has if you apply through paper and online route. If your agent paid 185usd online and u did biometric, that means you applied through online which you don't submit any documents at the Vfs, so which document is there to collect at the vfs? And embassy will contact you through your online account. If you applied through paper route, embassy will never tell you that you don't pay visa fee bcoz they knew Vfs would have collect visa fee before biometric even if it happens by error the Vfs will account for that and you should have inform them even before you leave.

I didn't bother to listen to the rest of her speech...Just right there I concluded that American embassy does not have a
right visa application process. The so-called VO just grant and deny visa at their discretion

I used to say it...... Us embassy Vo issued visa on their own. Majority of those that were granted visa are not genuine visitor infact those people with fake documents were getting visa these days, genuine applicant were declined
