Jobs/VacanciesRe: Intercontinental Bank Hopefuls by Neyoyo(m): 9:40pm On Dec 05, 2007
Anxiety will not speed up the release of the results. The best thing is for everybody to keep calm and hope for the best.If you have hypertension before the interview ,the medicals may flush you out.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Skyebank Like Waec by Neyoyo(m): 8:55pm On Dec 05, 2007
Muppet was right, most Companies only call successful candidates for interviews, they don't have to release results. So if you pass the test, you get called for the interview.Simple enough.

Apart from the money you are likely to earn from both jobs, you need to consider the career prospects of both.Though I don't know about the welfare  package of the company you work with presently, I would say you should go with First Bank. You will have better job security.Your contract job can be terminated at any time.Besides that, Banks like First Bank have other incentives apart from the basic salary.

PoliticsGoverment Should Control Population. by Neyoyo(op): 9:21pm On Sep 27, 2007
The Nigerian Government should control the population

A recent survey indicated Lagos as the most rapidly growing megacity in the world in terms of population. At this rate, Lagos will overtake other cities of the world in the next fifteen years. This reflects the situation throughout Nigeria.Thousands of graduates struggle to enter the university and struggle through school only to search for jobs fruitlessly several years after leaving school. The existing infrastructural facilities(Schools, Hospitals,e.t.c) can not cope with the population. One of the prominent reasons for this apart from corruption is simply the fact that people give birth to too many children than they can cater for.A lot of poor people give birth to children who later turn out to be beggars, criminals and fraudsters.I suggest government should enforce a policy limiting Nigerians to a maximum of two children or at most three if you are rich.Maybe this would help develop Nigeria like China and United States.
CultureRe: Terrible State Of The English Language In Nigeria by Neyoyo(m): 4:03pm On Sep 02, 2007
I think both languages serve useful purposes.I served in the South-East and I was able to communicate with everyone including kids ,the illiterate ,and the aged via Pidgin English,I went to some of their villages and I had no communication problem. If it was in a village in Soth west there would have been a problem. But people are allowing it to override proper English in formal settings which is wrong.Bottomline, know when to use both.
