Nigerian Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, aka Davido, has said he was still a “baby” when he became a music star.



The DMW boss said he hit stardom at the soft age of 17.


He stated this in a recent interview with vlogger Tayo Aina.

Award-winning Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has recounted how his wife, Chioma Rowland, initially turned down his romantic advances towards her.

In a chat with vlogger Tayo Aina, Davido said he first met Chioma while they were both studying at Babcock University in Osun State.

Former presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba has reacted to the federal government suspension of the Twitter ban.
Naija News earlier reports that the federal government and Twitter had reached an agreement which consequently led to the suspension of the ban.

The president’s directive was made public in a statement on Wednesday by the Chairman Technical Committee Nigeria-Twitter Engagement and Director-General National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi.

Amnesty International has described as an attack and violation of citizens’ right of expression the ban on the microblogging site, Twitter by President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Lagos State Command, has reportedly rearrested Instagram celebrity, Ismailia Mustapha, popularly known as Mompha.

It was gathered that the suspected internet fraudster was arrested for laundering funds obtained through unlawful activities and retention of alleged proceeds of crime.

The Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, has denied rumours that the former Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, brought the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the South East.

The Federal Road Safety Corps, (FRSC) has reacted to a viral online video of its officials maltreating a tricycle operator.
The incident involving some FRSC patrol officials and the tricycle rider happened along Sapele Road, Benin, Edo State, Naija News reports.

However, the FSC spokesperson, Mr. Bisi Kazeem in a statement on Monday where he reacted to the trending video pointed out that the happening is a past event which has only found its way back to the internet.

According to Kazeem, the incident happened in July 2020 and the officials involved have already been sanctioned with punishments according to the regulations of the corps for their unprofessional conduct in public while the tricycle rider was charged to court and sentenced accordingly.

He, therefore, urged members of the public to ignore the video in circulation as those promoting it on social media are only trying to heat up the polity.

A prayer session has been held by 2,500 clerics for a former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu to become the President of Nigeria in 2023.
The Managing Director, Federal Housing Authority, Abdullmumini Jibrin Kofa organised the special prayer session for the success of Bola Tinubu’s presidential ambition ahead of the 2023 general elections in the country on Saturday.

The prayer session, which was conducted in his hometown of Kofa village in Bebeji Local Government Area, Kano State, around 11:30 am, was conducted by over 2,500 clerics assembled by the former House of Representatives member who represented Bebeji/Kiru Federal Constituency.
