It's raining here but still I had to go take the pictures. Permit me to blur only my eyes in the pics. I'm doing this because I am helpless at the moment.

The property belongs to Apostolic Church who rent it out to people. So you can make any contact with them to find out if their property at the stated address caught fire on the 11th of July and if someone by name Umoh was one of the tenants affected.

No worry, just as in every hustle in life, you'll get better, your next job will be better planned, learning from this experience

Please I don't really blame some of you who conclude things this way, because you have your genuine reasons. Having been displaced, do you know if I am still within the area or how long it will take me to get to that place from where I may be now, plus what I may be doing/busy, plus cost of transportation, plus how long it will take me to trek to the place if i dont have transport? These may not be excuses but they are something to consider

And which photoshop? When i post pictures, please point out any photoshop you may see.

Good morning all, please for those who want to help me or know where I can get help, I'll do anything to prove myself including the ones asked already. I will get to that place today and do as you've asked me.

Lol...this op is funny..like someone said. It would take hours for a house to burn to that level. So there should be pictures of the house while it was on fire.

Also the op should take a picture close the house like another person suggested. There are so many scammers these days. So it's very difficult to know who's telling the truth.

Anyways...I want to drop this piece here for young people cos this is one of the reasons I do tell young people to be active in church.

I've witnessed this incident in my church twice and those two times, the pastor made an open announcement to the church and members rented another accommodation for the people.

The second person was a family man, someone even bought him a set of new cushion chairs, another gave him flat screen TV. In fact the speed at which they put him back on his feet, made him shed tears when he came to thank the church.

If you know you're broke and things are hard, try and belong somewhere, so that when things like this happens, you'll have people who would come to your aid. Our leaders don't care.

There is a house not far from me that was razed down by fire. I can snap it, make a story... Of course I can snap in front or inside of it if you requested. Lol

In fact some few years back someone played this kind of scam on nairaland. Some shops burn in his area, He snapped picture and claimed his business got burnt bla bla bla, it was later discovered to be false

I will prove my own to be different and not a scam. I keep saying everything cannot be a scam.

Is there any government agency or organizations that can assist? Who knows any?

11th July, 2023 remains the day i will never forget in my entire life, the day fire razed down the entire building where my one room apartment was, leaving me with nothing than only the clothes I put on to my hustle. I don't know if this kind of thing has happened to somebody before in this way.

Something like this can make someone commit suicide especially when you are still trying to come up in life.

This happened in the Chamley Street, near white, Calabar, Cross River State. You can see the pictures as attached. My name is Umoh and I am one of the people that stayed in the building.

Not even another boxer was removed from the house as the fire finished everything.

Since then, with no savings to pay for another apartment immediately, I have been roaming the street, with no place to call my own, sleeping in dangerous places and wearing the same clothes. I neither have father, mother nor anybody to help me at a time like this.

And I don't know if it's ok to reveal my full identity here including live pictures in order to prove the genuineness of this post. If it's ok, I don't have any problem with that.

Since obviously I am in need of help, so I was thinking if there are any groups, organizations or individuals that can help at a time like this. That's why I'm making use of this forum which I believe there are many enlightened people here.

Dear nairalanders, please help a stranded brother. I have refused to give in to the temptation of suicide. Where can I get help at a time like this?
