Jurgen Klopp and Arsene Wenger were among the big names at Premier League headquarters on Tuesday afternoon as the top-flight's managers attended their annual meeting.

With Arsenal kicking off the new season in just three days against Leicester, Wenger took time out from his preparations to link-up with his peers near Marylebone.

The meeting is designed to bring all the division's managers together so that they can be talked through the season's new rules and discuss talking points before Friday's big kick-off at the Emirates.

The use of the ABBA penalty shootout format in knockout matches, as well as retrospective two-game bans for diving, are sure to be high on the agenda.

It was the first meeting of its kind for Frank de Boer, Marco Silva and Mauricio Pellegrino, who took charge at Crystal Palace, Watford and Southampton respectively earlier this summer.

The Liverpool boss swapped his usual red training gear for a blue jumper and jacket combination, a pair of jeans and white New Balance trainers as he arrived at the central London office.

Klopp's Merseyside rival, Ronald Koeman, was also in attendance, with the Everton manager clutching a personalised bag as he exited a taxi and entered the building.

Mauricio Pochettino looked smart in a navy blue suit with a pair of aviator sunglasses hung from his shirt as he came face-to-face with Rafa Benitez, the man he will go up against when Tottenham travel north to take on Newcastle at St James' Park in their opening fixture on Sunday.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola and Chelsea manager Antonio Conte were not pictured arriving, although it is not known whether they attended the meeting.

One man definitely missing from the get-together was Jose Mourinho, who is busy preparing his Manchester United side for their Super Cup final against Real Madrid.

The power of social media has been highlighted by a new report which claims each of Cristiano Ronaldo's Instagram posts earns him £310,000.

A study by Instagram schedulers Hopper puts the Real Madrid's influence third in their top-10 earners list, behind only singer Selena Gomez and Kim Kardashian.

Ronaldo, who boasts a following of 106million on the social network, is a prolific contributor - regularly adding multiple images each day of his excursions around the world.
And Hopper says that every time he does so, he adds a significant chunk to his already considerable riches.

Ronaldo is one of only two sportsmen in the top 10.

Basketball sensation LeBron James sits in 10th with each of his posts apparently earning him £93,000.

He and Ronaldo are the only two men on the list, with reality TV family the Kardashians dominating.

As well as Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian and Kendall and Kyle Jenner all occupy places in the top seven.

The rest of the line-up is made up by Cara Delevingne and Gigi Hadid.

A student has been hailed a 'genius' after managing to sneak an oversize hip flask into her prom by disguising it as her clutch bag.

British student Eleanor Clarke attended her prom in full evening wear this week and finished her outfit with what appeared to be a roomy evening bag.

However, on a closer inspection the silver 'clutch' is in fact a large metal hip flask, big enough to keep her friends' thirsts quenched throughout the evening.

Eleanor shared photos of her hack with her 2,000 strong Twitter following earlier this week.

She wrote: 'Still don't know how I got away with a huge hip flask as my prom clutch'.

Accompanying the tweet Eleanor shared four photos of her big night out revealing how she craftily camouflaged her drinking vessel.
