I am a noob @ dis, please i need help with iPhone 3g,

After installing/jailbreak with a Subl1me iPhone1,2_3.1.2_7D11_NonActivated_NonUnlocked_Custom_Restore I downloaded it from the internet cause I was bored with my iPhone since it had no interesting features installed in it, now I believe my iPhone is Jailbroken but I cant seem to unlock my iPhone i need help it shows me the iTunes and usb logo screen please i need your help, what do I do from here??

How to unlock it

I need an unlocking tool that will support my mtn nigeria sim

I tried blackrain it unlocks the phone and it has so many interesting application even cycoder which supports video recording but there is no network anymore all Nigeria sim carrier would not work, please i need help I don't know how to install thru cydia cos no network to even download, There must be a way out please I need an angel to post a walkthru on how to go about this,

i believe he said he sees the itunes CD and usb, that is a restore mode

The iOS4 Gold Master can be installed on iphones and ipod touches - no biggie with ipod touch since you then don't have to worry about unlocking unlike the iphone.

IOS GM is on demonoid and TPB trackers, as well as itunes 9.2 beta which is Mac-only for now. then hop to the usual place for redsn0w 9.5 beta (also Mac-only).

true, my 3gs is factory-unlocked but you wont get activation because GM is dev-only. something about dev UDID.

Lol. Wetin clerk wan take core i5 do? A 2Ghz Dell 1545 Core 2 Duo will do just fine for him.
Htc Evo? That's CDMA. What are you gonna do with that in Nigeria? Unless you're getting them for the likes of Visafone and Starcomms, but you lose out on resale value.

i'd think an Atom would do, since celeron is no more. hell if ARM was x86 i'd recommend that for most of the office yaps out there. check this, a mate thinks core2duo is faster than a solo extreme! theres something about multiple cores that give naijans a boner. just like they believe lots of ram (even beyond the 2.x gb limit on 32bit) makes a system faster (most times its the cache and the FSB). must be compensating for something.

when they say quad band i think "world phone". truth is, i find the legend a better buy cos i just love Sense on Android (lipstick on a pig, i know, but its one of the lil gems that make me even consider android). i;m not too wild on amoled but i like the Mac-like construction of the Legend.

Tried everything to get it unlocked from Redsn0w to blacksnOw and Blackrain. Heard word on the grapevine that there is no unlock yet for the 05.12.01 baseband. Does anybody out there have any idea how i can get it unlocked

pretty much outta luck, boyo. iphone apps only work from firmware 2.x and above, which is just a step up from 1.1.4. the app store made its debut on 2.x, so this pretty much means you cant install app store apps (cracked or otherwise) on anything pre-2.x, 1.1.4 inclusive.

the world is moving on to 4.0 (have done so already since last week on my ipod touch). however, since you obviously own an iphone 2g, the highest mileage you can get is 3.1.3 as apple is no longer supporting the original iphone.

if you do want to enjoy app store apps then you need to upgrade, jailbreak and unlock. there are countless tutorials on how to go about mucking up but a few pages back all the way from 2007.

otherwise your best best are tool-chain based apps via RipDevs no-longer-supported Installer.

@Texazzpete, was always busy with my e90 until it was stolen that was when i remembered my iphone. which of the firmwares do you suggest i should go for, please where do you stay? cos i can't even download a file of 10 mb here in ondo state where i'm serving. A brother really need your help on this. cheers
