Shipping(RORO) and clearing your 2001 Explorer will cost ~N500,000. That leaves N700,000 or (~$6000) that is before my measly 10% profit! That is not enough money for your explorer since I don't do salvaged cars, cars in previous accidents, stxlxn cars, or cars imported from cotonou.

All my cars come through Lagos and you will not have to worry about your vehicle being siezed by the police before you get to register it.

In theory, yes.

But, at 7" - 7.5", your rims are a bit too narrow. You'd need a minimum of 8" to run tyres that wide.

when u confirm, our deal, then i know what to do, when i get d baby, i will put d tyres above until, i know where am heading, price for 16inch tyre in naija is about 20-30k depending on brand , for 17inch its 30-40k and for 18inch its 40-50k as per what we discussed. so for now i will close my eyes and stick with the 16" max size, i wish i could run does tyres (235x45x16) but if i put them what will happen or they wont fit well cos of 8 stuff u talked about, thanks

do i need any offsets, or i just buy d tyre and install them on stock rims, problem free

225/50x16 tyres will fit fine on your stock rims.

If you decide to buy new rims, in 16/17/18", make sure the offset (ET) is between 35 - 38mm.

i mean when d road is wet, and yur tires lose control due to too much water and glide and applying brakes may not help, u get me now

As long as you're in control of the car in the first instance, aquaplaning shouldn't be an issue.

Yes, your car does have projector headlamps.

No. It means it's easier to retro fit HID's, and get a clear beam pattern.
