My website Clueboy.com has been restricted with the suspect of FRAUD. I am afraid am going to loose it

The registered server is holding my website, Now I have no access to it. I don't really know what to do though, I've contacted them via email... Bit I think I just have to call them and talk...

Mine, too, has been seized on the same suspicion of fraud and they are not responding to attempts to contact them.

hmm my account is still intact. Sorry guys i think they dont want Nigerian customers.

That is sooo sad. I guess they r going with the Nigerians are fraud people thing.

Yes, but I've been their customer for about 3 years and I've been a Nigerian throughout that time, so I don't understand why they've decided to do this.

The whole internet thinks we are bad, because 99% of the online Nigerians prefer to destroy than to creat... So many hackers, fraudlents and even thiefs...

I'm simply going to transfer my domains to another registrar.

clueboy is a really good domain name. they probably don't want to give it to you  . . . . .they'll sure find an excuse for their reason.

Well, I dont think they would hold my domain name just because of the name i use... besides, It took me quite a long period of time to think of the name clue boy.

It's been a long time that i've started building the site Clue Boy, it was a great miracle that i was lucky to have it... I was so surprised and shocked when I saw i won the domain name competition on Nairahost.

Yo would'nt believe it if you see how i've build up my site... I wanted to host it withing the next month or so... but now, I dont think so... well, maybe if they realise my account.

Can you have access to that domain in question for transfers? Have you tried contacting Registerfly?

They have been sending me domain renewal notifications despite the suspension of my account.

They still contact me about there new offers, new prizes and domain name renewal... So I think that has to do with nothing... maybe they have included our email in there newsletters list because we had an account with them.

For me, I think I have to register another domain name with a new different name... Bleep Registerfly.com and there services... I hate them to the bastered level

My domain was also blocked. Though it was functional after the blockage but i dont have accessto change the host (now that i need to change it). Remember we bought it legally.[b][/b] I dont know why they do this.

I was able to get my account unlocked by sending the scanned image of the credit card showing the last 4 digits and a recent bank statement to risk@registerfly.com.

Hey, In any case... They should take it and do what ever they want to do with it... All i know is that there company is very bad... I would never register my site with them again

Congratulations on the new name, though it's not as catchy as Clueboy and more prone to misspelling. Did you read Choosing a Domain Name? Factors to Consider?

Well, some people are going to by typing "rufai.com" instead of "rufaai.com" but that can be managed, I guess.

Besides, i even suggested www.clueboy.net but all the same thing... i later said why not www.rufaai.com when i use it as my email and web ID?

I felt very sorry for myself and those who have suffered. Time, money, domains, business, efforts, , ALL GONE and no one to help. Absolutely no one!! Is there no law in the country? May years of hard work gone down the drain. Talk about ethics ,

The scenario: Yes, wait until it is about time for domain renewal and then charge, a few times!!! Customers will of course contact Credit Card company and seek refund and Credit Card company will effect a chargeback.

Then your account will be transfered to a "FRAUD" account and suspended. Then one will be told to pay the chargeback and activation fee or that's it!! So more income (extra) for the registrar. Makes it look like a LEGAL way to earn a lot of extra money. Don't pay activation fee --- good, they get your domains and whatever credit balance you have because their policy said those are non-refundable if I've not read wrongly. Pay activation fee and chargeback -- ridiculous, I've done nothing wrong!

Very bad business model - very unethical. I feel that "Something" is definitely going on there.

Thanks for sharing. I've moved almost all my domains away from them. Never do business with a company that is too large to be hurt significantly when you withdraw your business.
