I wasted a lot of time trying to get in touch with then to no avail until recently when I called a number I got from a fairly duplicate post here and a guy picked the phone. Nigerians, let us be resourceful. The poster posted this message in 2006. Nairaland was not as big as it is now. There are a lot more prospects available today that may take an interest in this. Since you guys are interested already, shouldn't one of you do a costing on what it will take to get this going? Why don't you approach a property owner who has not been able to lease their space out for a while in your preferred area, then present a proposal for like 6 months free, while you provide the furnishing and others stuff to get this started.

Nairaland is proving itself to be the prime networking tool for making the right contacts and potential business connections. I will advice that one of you interested parties should take the bull by the horn and make this a win-win situation for you and other Nairalanders.

This is an old post dated 2006 and we are in 2009. There is no way an office apartment in Ikoyi will be leased for N5,000 PER MONTH With all the so called Amenities included when it is not a face me i face you room somewhere in the remotest part of Mushin.

So you are advised to ignore this post and search for something more realistic within your budget!

back from a long vac away from NL, and tot it will be fair to clear the air,

Blueoffice is no longer in existence as i type It was a service offer by a company i worked with back then those were the details.


I will also update this soon with a new company working on a similar service. with more interesting features. May be not at N5000 but an affordable fee for start-ups.

@dr kitaun?  burnt as in? Well Blueoffice was a wonderful & profitable concept, It was sad to let client know that d service will no longer be cos d main coy (wch it was a sub to) had to relocate out of lagos. (FYI: i worked as an external consultant to d said project)
@dejia - with d assumptn that u are yet to strt. Allen is a gd locatn expect for d parking space & traffic issues.also high rent.
Challenges:
*security against having fraudster s/debtors(ensure u seek legal advice on term of use of ur facilities & agreement client must sign before they pay u)
*unprofessional indvivdual as client.(esp does who think its a place like home where they can shout on phone ,eat smelly food @ thier desk or hav friends come and hangout)
*its could also get crowdy if u dont manage ur shared falicities like phone lines, meeting etc
*limits on what eqiupmt they can bring in
* possiblity of luring ur front desk staff to move with them or bend ur rules
*
