I need to get a second phone (Thanks to Etisalat) and was thinking of the E71i but my friends that got it have started complaining about the sluggishness, which has been a major challenge with my present phone (E61i). So I have decided to switch to windows mobile. Any experiences guys?
I am a business user: A LOT of calls, browsing and email on the move. I don't necessarily need a camera. I love physical QWERTY keys. I want a very responsive phone will serve all my needs. Where can i get a wide variety of Win mo devices with qwerty keys and Win mo 6?

Get the HTC Touch Pro. It has the best QWERTY Keyboard on a mobile device at the moment (5 rows of keys). Other devices, including the E71 feature just 4 rows.

Its touch sensitive, has multi-touch capabilities (not supported on the current Windows Mobile version - 6.1). This means that its ready to be flashed with a Windows Mobile 7 ROM as soon as its available. Windows Mobile 7 hopes to compete with the iPhone OS when its lands. That means you get the best of both worlds, a full QWERTY keyboard with multi-touch sensitive VGA (640x480) screen.

The Touch pro seems a bit on the pricey side. How can i get a seller here?

I'm looking to get one as well. . . this year hopefully. Was told about a seller in ikeja and next thing, the dude said he was out of stock, but could help get it for 95k if i really need it before he restocks. That sounded silly because, using current exchange rates, even the HTC Touch HD which has a whooping 480x800 3.5inch screen can be gotten in the UK for 91k.

I think he actually sold his own stock for 72k. Good deal if you ask me.

Treo 750, Moto Q9h Global, and samsung blackjack are 3 windows mobile phones that I use and do not have any problems with. I have also used them on my visits to Nigeria. They are all quadband and the treo and blackjack also have the the 3G bands used there. Worked well with MTN's 3G when I was there a couple of months ago.

samsung omnia doesnt have physical qwerty keys, which was stated as a major requirement by the poster. i'm actually not interested in trying out any of these touchscreen only devices as i've used and still use the iPhone. If i'm not 100% satisfied with their touchscreen implementation (lack of feedback), i can imagine how the others will be, especially when those others (samsung omnia / htc touch diamond) run on operating systems not designed for finger sensitivity,

the touch pro is obviously the way to go here. . . attimes, i pity touch diamond users.

that price is hilarious . why would i get a 2007 windows mobile 6.0 standard (non-touch) device running on a sub-350MHz processor with 96MB RAM and no WiFi for 65k when I can get the touch diamond, a 2008 windows mobile 6.1 professional (touch-sensitive) device running a 528MHZ processor with 256MB RAM for 68k?
