Blackburn host Liverpool this Saturday at 15.00 GMT, that's 4pm Nigerian time.

Liverpool currently top the table with 34 points, closely followed by Chelsea. The Scousers blew the chance to go 3 points clear on Monday with a draw to West Ham. That was their second successive draw at Anfield, so I guess things don't look so shiny for them.

Blackburn Rovers will be hosting them at Ewood park this time though,so perhaps their luck will change undecided But lets not forget that Blackburn is one of the teams that have a habit of nicking points off the so-called ''big four'' in the Premiership. So will this be another one of those point-nicking times?

What do you think people? Will Skipper Stevie find his mojo at Ewood Park? Torres?

Looks lyk another draw in d making. . . . . A strong, pacy striker lyk jason roberts could trouble l'pool just as bellamy did. That is key 4 b'burn. As 4 l'pool, mascherano & gerrad in mf will do them good. . . . Don't really fancy alonso.
All in all, its d scouser's 2 win, lose or draw - i stick my neck out 4 a draw!

I love it when people show disrespect to Liverpool: the only team that has lost just once this season in the EPL (under bizarre circumstances). Liverpool have taken more points away from home thanat home. I always fancy them more playing away than at Anfield this season (eg A.Madrid and Marseille). That said, the boys will need to step up their game and take some of the numerous chances they'll create.

PS Why don't you fancy Alonso U've obviously not been watching the Reds all season.

But then again which team is finding it easy currently? Lets take a look at the form table for the last 4 games of the big four (Including UEFA CL and excluding Carling):

Liverpool-                      WDWD

Chelsea-                        WDDL

Manchester United-        WDDW

Arsenal-                         LLWW                                   Bold letters for UCL

Goes to show how tough its been for top teams

i believe we will do well against blkburn. Especially if we wont have to contend with Ribbish Keane. Not withstanding i expect a good performance from the rest of the team

Alonso so far has been liverpool's best player whenever he is on the Field this seaSON

The team started the season really well, we are top of the league and we have already qualified for the next stage of the Champions League so this means that we are doing a good job.

A l'pool m/f without a natural defensive m/flder always appears lyte-weight. . . . .

To me Liv'pool hav not been dat convincin dis days, 2 home league games without a goal, & also d heat in on Paul Ince after a series of defeats, I think Blackburn would come out strong & if care isn't taken, they might suprise everyone.

Top of the league, Joint Top of the UCL group D, I hope we can get as convincing as you feel we should be because then we'd be top of the Italian, Spanish and French leagues simultanously! grin grin
