Manchester United(1) Vs Everton(0) On Saturday 31st January by Cristalz(f): 11:04am On Jan 30, 2009 |
Manchester United host Everton at Old Trafford on Saturday, 17.30 GMT (6.30pm Nigerian time). United maintained number one spot on the table after their impressive 5 - 0 win over West Brom, and Liverpool's inability to capture all 3 points from their game. They seem to be racing toward another trophy with Chelsea, who are only 2 points behind,in hot pursuit. The Devils are also on a GD level with Chelsea. Edwin Van der Saar and his defenders made Premiership history on Tuesday. The 38-year-old surpassed Petr Cech's 2004-2005 record of 925 minutes without conceding a goal, and United also set a new record of 11 successive clean sheets, breaking the Blues' record of four years ago. However with about 9 players on the injury list, including Wayne Rooney and Patrice Evra, they've got their work fully cut out for them against Everton. Of course the team blasted 5 goals on Tuesday without these guys, but hey, this ain't West Brom (no offense WB fans ). Carlos Tevez and Dimitar Berbatov, who's been shining of late, will remain paired up in attack. A win will put them further ahead of Chelsea. Everton are pumped up at the moment, following their 1 -1 draw against Arsenal on Wednesday. The team was quite impressive after a slow start and I'm sure they must have wondered how come they didn't win. . .they were definitely the better side on Wednesday. The Evertonians are currently 6th on the table and a win will only put them closer to Arsenal, but still in 6th position. Yakubu, Saha, Nuno Valente and Vaughan are still on the injury list. . .away against the Devils, this won't be easy. |

How come united fans aren't responding to the thread? I know, they are experiencing a terrible nightmare. One would hear Ferggie say in his dream: Why are they always after me . . . . . . They almost had me last season . . . . . 2 points . . . . . Scola . . ri . . . Drog . . . ba . . . .eh! NO!!! |

United is the form team at the moment but I don't see them easily getting past Everton. Could happen but it is unlikely going to be easy, I am tempted to predict a win for United but It looks to me like a score draw. 1-1 Arteta to be the destroyer. |

The game between the world champions and UEFA champions league champions cun defending premier league holders against EVERTON is on the way at the Old trafford (thearter of actualised dreams) PLAYING AT HOME I SEE MANCHESTER UNITED DEMOLISHING EVERTON---------mancheser united will win everton even if its away match!! MANCHESTER UNITED WILL WIN THIS ONE-----------WHY? They are on form and the morale is very high at the moment- man united 2 everton 0 nuff said |

i think mtd is going to win this match 5-0 over everton, and the absence of one or two players can not let the club down ,,,,if sir or ronaldo leave mtd that dose not mean that mtd cannot recover again,,,,if u can remember in the early life of mtd they make it with out sir and ronaldo so they can still make it |
Re: Manchester United(1) Vs Everton(0) On Saturday 31st January by switch47(m): 3:37pm On Jan 31, 2009 |

Ojoro where? Weren't you watching? Arteta couldn't get the ball so his foot went after Carrick's leg. Intentional or not, a trip is a trip. . .and a trip in the 18 is a pen. Live with it |
Re: Manchester United(1) Vs Everton(0) On Saturday 31st January by FBS: 7:38pm On Jan 31, 2009 |
Cristalz:now I understand why raf was ranting. no need to live with it. We've seen worse scenarios than carricks without a pen given. ojoro people. |

Re: Manchester United(1) Vs Everton(0) On Saturday 31st January by Cristalz(f): 9:01pm On Jan 31, 2009 |
Overly biased dude following the multitude go read my posts on the United fan thread. I already addressed this issue there cos some haters like you brought it up as well. Penalty was fair and square. . .a foul was committed in the 18-yard box and the ref pointed to the spot. How did he go against the law to favor anybody? Stick pins in your eyes if you don't like it. |
