Arsenal is very much on course, even with the so called small boys they are presently Ranked in top 4 in the WORLD. Like i will always say it is not just buying players that win titles but lots of other factors, there are many teams in the EPL that spent more than Arsenal this season but did not make it near the Top 4!! By the way even Chelski that spent so much and with all the so called Big players has not won any title for 3 years Running, Liverpool has Big boys and conceeded 4 goals against Arsenal and Are not going to collect any title this season. It is not the Ingridient that makes the food but How applied. Arsenal will surely get some players but not like some Arm chair fans are shouting!!

Arsène Wenger is only after “the right type” of players over the summer – and he may not have to spend big money to get them.

Despite defeats to Manchester United and Chelsea in the last week, the Arsenal manager does not feel his side needs major surgery. He wants improvements “in the right areas” but has ruled out a raft of signings.

As ever, Wenger wants quality over quantity in his transfer dealings.

“I don’t think the squad needs major investment,” he said. “At the moment I don’t know what funds will be available [anyway]. But I just believe we need to continue to improve. I’m not as doom-and-gloom as everybody wants to make it after a defeat.

“Of course we play in a strong league against top quality opponents.

“So we need to improve in the areas that are right. That doesn’t mean quantity - and not even quantity of money - it’s just the right type of players.”

Arsène Wenger is in the market for new players this summer but he won’t compromise the long-term future of the Club in the process.

Arsenal spent big in January when they bought Andrey Arshavin from Zenit St Petersburg. It was a move that not only added invaluable pedigree to the Gunners’ young squad but also silenced those who questioned Arsenal’s clout in the transfer market.

Speaking at Thursday’s pre-match press conference, Wenger refused to rule out further signings in the summer but, as ever, long-term financial stability is paramount.

“If you want me to get the Club bust, I am not the person to do that, that’s for sure,” the manager stressed.

“I believe every manager has the same problem, to manage within his own resources. I look now like I do not want to spend money, but I have nothing against spending money.

“I just feel we have a team who can be very competitive and we want, as always, to manage this club within its resources and I will do that.

“I believe in this team and from what I have seen in this team, that makes me quite optimistic. These players have the quality to beat anybody else.

“If we can add one or two players with the resources we have, then we will do it.”

BUT THE REAL FANS KNOWS BETTER because Their status/support is more like a TRADITION   What we have here is a case of some Armchair self acclaimed Fans  (not even supporters- because they have no form of support for the club whatsoever) living under the delusion that they are fans.COMPLETELY UNKNOWN TO THE CLUBS(these are not even true fans o )- trying to lay claim to any club in england that is winning trophies AT THE MOMENT!! Why would i wanna kill myself for a club that doesn't understand what winning trophies means? Wenger is a heartless manager, he has promised bringing in some fresh and experienced legs over the years and we have seen the likes of Nasri, Aaron ransey, Bischof etc, while clubs like man utd chelsea has seen experienced players infused in their teams, look at liverpool, this clubs understands what it takes to be winners.

Bleep Arsene and Arsenal, what are the likes of eboue, diaby, ade, silvetser, etc doing in a club that wanna win?
