I want to sell an Alienware Area51-m 766 laptop. because i need a machine that's easier to carry about and uses less power. This monster uses a desktop processor and thus, runs hot. Apart from this, it's a great machine - used as a desktop replacement. I used to play GTA3 with it ( it was awesome) but i don't have time anymore. Please anybody interested, name a price. Very negotiable. I am thinking of N75,000.

Physical flaws:
1. The sound volume is rather low
2. the [left] directional key is loose

Actually, I'm a little bit interested, but I want to know what one can do to that loose key.

@Seun: the spring on which that particular key sits on is broken, that's why it's loose. The Keyboard layout is similar to Toshiba's so i guess a part replacement can be made for it. Alienware Tech support would have been the best place to go for a fix, but they require my original product ID/serial number which i dont have anymore.

How long does it last on a full battery when NEPA strikes?

The battery is out. I mean, it doesnt last more than a few seconds, cos the machine itself is like 2 yrs old.

Hmmm. So it's essentially a desktop in the form of a laptop. It may still be worth it, though, since its relatively low power consumption will make one's inverter last longer on a full charge. Do you have the original OS disk?

How easy will it be to expand the ram to 1gb? About how much will that cost?

The system has two slots for SO-DIMM PC-2700 DDR memory, each of which is used up by the 512MB modules.
