I doubt if his sister GENUINELY wants him to come to d UK. How can she CLAIM she does not know the process of inviting him over?? Assuming she does not,she is in the best position to ask about how its done from people at her end. Nigerians could be very funny sometimes. They can do almost anything to discourage family members from coming to visit or relocating abroad.

If the sister went with a UK pass and has nothing to do with Nigerians were she is, she will not know how to go about it.
Sometimes you only find out something when you want it.#
In Germany you need your last 3 months payslip and earn a required amount.
The invitation is more of a form that needs their stamp of approval.
She will send the invitation to you and you will go to the embassy with it.
Please do not tell them you want to stay there.
Am sure in the UK it will be the almost same way.

This dude might be genuine with his question, but the basic question is, WHAT THE HELL WILL HE DO IN THE UK WITHOUT THE REQUIRED PAPERS? I know that in the US u can't do shit without papers cuz alot of stuff have changed. I dunno how things work in the UK, but why can't his sister file for him to come live there as a permanent resident? This dude gotta get his acts together before thinking of moving to the UK. I got this friend at my school here in the US who's got no papers and had to drop from school cuz the school was asking for his legal status, getting a job is tough for him cuz he aint got papers. Hey dude, u gotta know what u are going for before running away from ur comfort zone in naija, no be as u see on tv or hear people talk about abroad the thing be oooooo. A lot of people are here that don't make a headway. U just gotta think before u leap. Ask ur sister to invite u over if she's got the means for u to survive for the number of years u gonna be without a job. Of cause in Germany you bring other papers too.
But this is the main one. The salary income slip.
A contract that you will take full responsibilities of your visitor.
That means if your visitor runs and looks for Asylum they can charge you with all the expenses.(another example)
A health insurance in case he falls sick.
