Nigerian Football Players' Real Ages by Dios(f): 2:13pm On May 24, 2007
I remember watching Paulo Maldini when i was like 11 or 12 in 1994 95, that fool probably played in the 94 world cup, and now 13 years later, one month shy of his 39th birthday, he wins another champions cup, as the captain for that matter, but nigeria's Jay Jay at 33, (43 anyone), is bout to go play in f*cking australia. Even NFL players that get knocked the f*ck out damn near every sunday still play top flight till they are 35 or 36, Keyshawn Johnson just chose to retire at 35 after turning down 8million with 6 guaranteed for 2 years, while Amokachi damn near became 50 year old man at 29.

So do you think your players forge their age?
Re: Nigerian Football Players' Real Ages by akara(m): 2:36pm On May 24, 2007
tongue
Why dont we write to every Nigerian player and ask them for their birth certificates. Better still, we can go interview their mothers and check the results with the hospitals where they were delivered. That shoudl answer the question. Dont ask the NFA. lipsrsealed
Re: Nigerian Football Players' Real Ages by Iman3(m): 2:38pm On May 24, 2007
What about Daniel Amokachi? He is supposed to be 34 this year but he retired many years ago.Its embarrasing
Re: Nigerian Football Players' Real Ages by knotty(m): 2:39pm On May 24, 2007

forge your fucking language first and maybe, then we can talk.
Re: Nigerian Football Players' Real Ages by Dios(f): 2:53pm On May 24, 2007
because i don't feel like being polite, answer the f*cking question or shut the f*ck up.

I used to be a close associate with Emmanuel Okoneboh who was Nigerian golden eaglet team goal-keeper in Japan 93. Like his (then) mate Kanu and (later) Okocha, Emma was born in the year - - - -
Re: Nigerian Football Players' Real Ages by Dios(f): 3:30pm On May 24, 2007
Your response was sarcastic too, i just chose to ignore it. You don't have to answer,  but i'll be here to laugh when you team sucks because they field 40 year olds who pretend to be 29.  cool
Re: Nigerian Football Players' Real Ages by Dios(f): 3:39pm On May 24, 2007
Thanks VicJustice, so he was allegedly 22 while playing as a 17 year old, so he claims to be 31 now but he's actually 36, that makes sense and by the way Okocha wasn't on that team, so that nigga is probably 40.
Re: Nigerian Football Players' Real Ages by seunspice(m): 4:02pm On May 24, 2007
It is very abnormal but the truth is an average Nija player deducts about 5 -10 years from their ages. I saw the last flying eagles team and i was appalled that i am officially older than any of those guys, when i would easily prostrate to greet them fuckers if i meet them on the road.
The fact the Kanu can still score 10 goals or so in a year is really amazing, that guy get JUJU, cause i cant see that guy less than 42 years at least.
God save us.

Dios:

because i don't feel like being polite, answer the f*cking question or shut the f*ck up.

Politeness is not about `feeling`. sorry, it is about home training
Re: Nigerian Football Players' Real Ages by Dios(f): 4:20pm On May 24, 2007
Man,f*ck you, and i would say it to your face to if i could meet you. Why don't you justt answer the question or shut up.
Re: Nigerian Football Players' Real Ages by deb(m): 4:34pm On May 24, 2007
Like they say in the Animal farm that some animals are more equal than the other

That is the case here with Kanu and Jay Jay (couldn't have deducted more than 5yrs LOL cheesy).
They both cheated but not as much as their counterparts. I guess thats why they are still
relevant in today's football unlike the likes of Julius Aghahowa, Taribo and the rest.

I can vouch for Osaze and may be Mikel because the former went to football Academy as a
kid in Belgium while the latter graduated from Pepsi Academy.

Obagol? I don't know about him.

Inter sabi im real age na why them sell am, the guy is about 28, he should still be around for 6 years
Re: Nigerian Football Players' Real Ages by gomez1(m): 4:53pm On May 24, 2007
Saying that Nigeria players fake their ages is just stating the obvious or how do you explain an Aghahowa who came into limelight in 1999 and just 8 years later my 10 year old cousin is faster than him or Pius Ikedia who just sudddenly went into oblivion and that goes for a whole lot of them
Re: Nigerian Football Players' Real Ages by pratt: 7:48pm On May 24, 2007
hey fellow, always mind the use of unnecessary language.why shd u call maldini a fool, back to what u said that's is what i call the african phenomenon.it's like a football culture, don't worry time will take care of it

Re: Nigerian Football Players' Real Ages by Rlst84sale(m): 9:16pm On May 24, 2007
I think you guys need not to even mind responding to certain thread. That Dios guy is not Niaja and I think his thread should be ignored. It's unfortunate that most of the users 4 here no sabi oyinbo. Anything they can do to completely stop African livelyhood is a happy adventure 4 most of them. They really don't care about any African making it at any success level.

So Dios if you want to know their age why can't you go and ask them or go to their mothers and find out. Fucking racist. I didn't see you coming here asking everybody to boycut IBM products when in fact they were the brain behind Hitler (your grandfather) in destroying six million Jewish lives leaving many without parents, rendering many permanently handicapped. But you are happy to come here asking people about someone else age, I bet if they are blonde hair blue eyes, it won't matter, you bloody racist, rot in hell. Fucking racist.

For people playing professional sport, average prime life span is less than 15 years due to so much hardness inlicted on the body, joints especially. So the fact that they play for 8 or 10 years and they are not perfoming in their peak should not be a point of wonder.
Re: Nigerian Football Players' Real Ages by Dios(f): 5:45am On May 25, 2007
;DI'm a racist, thanks 4 the making me laugh. grin
Re: Nigerian Football Players' Real Ages by lafile(m): 8:02am On May 25, 2007
Wow!
Wilson Oruma played U17 in 1993. His younger brother was my senior in primary school some 10 years earlier in warri. I was 18 in 1993. Go figure.
Furo Eyenemi played under 21 in 1999. Informed Sources from P/Harcourt say he was a contemporary of Tarila Okorowanta. Tarila retired from the Green Eagles in the mid 1980's. Go figure.
Okoye, the goal tender for the 1999 U21 team was bald, a university graduate and a father before thE Nigeria 99 Championship. Go figure.
Dont let me talk about Phillip Osondu.

and the beat goes on and on.the truth is, age cheats fade out faster than they come.i will give personal examples.one of the players that represented nigeria at the beach competition in south africa and brazils claims his 22.he plays for kwara united and was formally with npa. his name is gabriel agu.we finished secondary school together from saint teresa`s college, nsukka in 1993.i am 32.if, according to him,he is 22,that means he finished sec. sch. at the age of.6!julius aghowa played at the wyc as a policeman.his registered age was 18,he had played in the nigerian pro league for 4 years.where his julius now.zenke played for the flying eagles after playing for the golden eaglet in 2005.his true age was 32 in 2005 and this was one of the reasons that was given by the panel of enquiry for the team`s non performance as the team was too old to run with the true under 17 other countries presented, yet he played again in 2005 as a 19 year old lad.pls give me a break.
Re: Nigerian Football Players' Real Ages by Nobody: 10:12am On May 25, 2007
Nigerian footballers and their ages do not cease to make me laugh. I watched Ambrose Vanzekim play for under twenty in Netherlands while in actual case at the time both of us left secondary school in 1995, he would not have been less than 16.

It was quite ridiculous to see him play for that team. Can anybody remember Odatey Lamptey of Ghana in Bundesliga? He was actually 31 but claimed to be 21. Ten years unaccounted fror.
Re: Nigerian Football Players' Real Ages by agbola(m): 1:31pm On May 25, 2007
wat of mikel, because he was under-fed he could get away wit being 18 and d stupid lie of him being a product of the shell cup. now look at that man and tell me he is 21, now i'm even hearin a rumor that he was a machinery hired by d skul to help dem win.
No wonder by the time they are 29 they can't even pass common fitness tests, pls c wat is happening to aghahowa

The only nigerian player who i can even believe if i was a fool wud be osaze at least he looks young.
Re: Nigerian Football Players' Real Ages by sleekdot(m): 1:55pm On May 25, 2007
According to official records Osaze should be one of the oldest Super eagle older than Aiyegbeni, Utaka etc
Aghahowa was a police sergeant as at Nigeria 99 aged 19 I wonder how many years it takes to make Sergeant in police. Where are the U-17 guys that went to Trinidad 2001 Opabunmi set all of them have retired when they should be 23 years old. So who are we deceiving Taiye Taiwo has always been a regular feature at Pako stadium in Iyana Ipaja since the mid 90's now he is 22 years old He played for Gabros and Lobi stars before going to Marseille at the age of 20 guess he must have played Local Pro league at age 14.

Some under 17 players have played local league for 5 years so they started playing like age 11+

Re: Nigerian Football Players' Real Ages by kaydee(m): 8:09pm On May 25, 2007
Nigerians!!!!!!! Who is that saying we should be quiet about their real ages? Have you noticed that we go very far in all Under-17,20,21 and 23 competitions and our Eagles can't go beyond second round at the world cup? Esp Under-17,Na we be baba for there. That's because you subtract 8 or more years from ur date of birth to get ur age

Mikel played in the PRINCIPAL CUP six years ago.I wonder how he's still that young now.

U DUMB FOLKS MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS .are u their fathers .u people are just jealous of this footballers when cause you know they earn money u will never earn.also stop rubbishing ur country men .i got this also from Vicjustice (m)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When posting rubbish with your corrupt minds, doesn't it come to your sense that it's not only Nigerians that are reading these articles?
I found out this site when i was just searching for some informations about the ill treatments of Nigerians in the hands of the foreign embassies in Nigeria, i was using search engines and here i found myself.
You fools, you say all sorts of corrupt things about your activities and illegal intentions openly on these sites, and you're not wise enough to understand that the same way that i found this site, many foreigners and those who work with embassies are visiting this site too.
But how would you succeed in obtaining a visa for your clients after exposing yourself by revealing things like "i can arrange a bank statements", "you can vanish when you get there", "you can marry to have a green card", my friend used a fake bank statement", "my brother used my passport" etc?
Mind you, the embassy staff are also browsing to check and learn more things about Nigeria.
If you expose yourself here because you want to advertise your business, then, how would you succeed in the business except to fraud your clients?
Re: Nigerian Football Players' Real Ages by luvhenry(m): 10:05am On May 26, 2007
blasterman u're not exposed enough so u really believe their ages
Re: Nigerian Football Players' Real Ages by uzomaeze(m): 11:13pm On May 26, 2007
seen some very interesting things here , if i'm to add yes yes its true all the super eagles players actually forge their ages except for those born outside Africa or South America , the reason is because we don't have a good database structure where we can get to know when they were born compared to our contemporaries in Europe. I remember i was reading a Mag where it was clearly stated that Maldini of AC Milan started playing football at the age of 12 for AC Milan so you can say he was tracked by then the likes of Ronney and our own Nigerian born in Everton ( i mean the youngster) have their real ages intact so what ever happened to foot ball , damnm i don't know undecided lipsrsealed
Re: Nigerian Football Players' Real Ages by Nobody: 5:45am On May 27, 2007
when aghahowa was a police sergeant at "19", he was already married to a practicing lawyer with a daughter. It is either he married a wife more than 8-10 yrs older than him or his wife finished law school at 19!
