“I am sure there is no governor that is more accountable with public funds than this administration. We have won several awards locally and internationally.

“I was the executive governor up to two minutes ago and when Babatunde Fashola is sworn in, I will join all of you to continue in the politics of Lagos State.

“We will continue to build our democracy. We will continue to pursue freedom and liberty for the entire democrats in Nigeria.

We started that struggle before. It is not Eldorado yet. It is not uhuru yet. We unanimously agreed to grow democracy and we will continue to grow it.

“We started this process in 1999 and will continue with it. We will resist any attempt to draw us back. We cannot bend back.

“Moses, after crossing the Red Sea, cannot go back to Egypt. Democracy is good. We will embrace that. I am around with you.”

Tinubu is one of the most succesful governors in Nigeria

tinubus second term is a complete failure, considering the amount of money available to him, i can tell you authoritatively that iGR is about 12 billion monthly, he lied that he collects 7 billion plus Federal allocation of about 3- 4 billion, the you will understand how much head failed in his 2nd term, i used t like him until he became hypocritical, he is a good political strategist though, only if you know how much lagos state owes,

i agree that his second term in office was a big failure, tinubu did not do anything in office for the past 4 yrs but buy the people of lagos , i dont know how a handover speech can be called a successful when you cannot give report a report on significant successful development of your state, and am not talking one road or5 roads you fixed or tinubu square, of the road that leads to your ikeja office, weare nigerians need to stop playing party politics and start discussing issue oriented politics,
