2BUFF.
JUST MESSING ABOUT WITH YA ORIGINAL (SEE ATTACHED)

[img][/img]

WAS THINKING WE INTRODUCE ORIGINALITY BY PORTRAYING NIGERIA AS IS.
NOT SOME FUTURISTIC THING.MAKE THE GAME FUN BY INSERTING KOOL XTERS/SCENARIOS RATHER THAN HI TECH GIZMOS.
NOT SUGGESTING WE SHOW US AS BACKWARD,BUT NOT AS MEGA ADVANCED TECHNOLOGICALLY EITHER.

WOT U THINK GUYS?

The prologue will be during gameplay. It will be blended into the game and will be where the player gets to make some critical life changing choices that determine how the rest of the story is going to play itself out.

Intro videos of any sort can wait till much later.
Will send you a draft later today.

2buff, you're just too much.

I love the sketched.

You're very talented.

Let's hook up. I've had the very same dream about making a Nigerian 3D game from the first time I played MK4 on PC about five or six years ago. That was why I learnt to use Blender.

I could do with your help. I also figure that you can do with mine.

Let's all come together. We can form a team. We'll succeed.

Glad to be back, guys!!! cheesy
I had to travel for work. Was kinda last minute so I couldn't leave a note.
Spent about a week there on the field and I didn't have that much of an internet connection for personal use.

OKX, I sent the current story draft to oksdman@yahoo.com.

Stanoz, thank you so much for the compliments! smiley
You're very welcome to join the team. I have a lot of respect for anyone who actually gets around to learning blender, I know I didn't. The manual frustrated me, so I just stuck to 3DS Max.
Whenever you're chanced, I'll be glad to see some of your previous work.

If you want to send any work you feel may be confidential, feel free to email it to me.
Again, it'll be a pleasure working with you.

hey guys am impressed dat some folkds are out there thinking like me am an idea person i also direct 3d animations however i always thot a naija game was beyond us and it would take a lot to get there not with rate advertising companies rush to south africa , well i av this great idea of a naija infact lagos theme game not all this sci-fic and space and american look alike police men things some of you guys are fashioning your stuff after (any attempt to do a game like oyinbo is an attempt to copy their games and thats the easiest n wrongest way to start) so back to my idea i wont spill it all out but it has to do with lagos and the ghettos and how one can triumph even if u start from the lowest of lows , theme is 9am even afraid to say the theme cos its not yet copyrighted) but i wll tell you this am willing to work with anyone who is serioue raymond and is it buff lets talk , mayowas@yahoo.co.uk, also do you guys kno dat the llatest resident evil game i think its RES 3- is based on locations and experiments carried out in ibadan? peace

Re: 3D Nigerian Game by kris(m): 2:01am On Dec 31, 2007
A better game will be one that relates more to the life in Nigeria. Here are some ideas.

1. Super conductor - works as a bus conductor and has to solve all the troubles involved, like collecting money from hard headed passengers, making sure the money in complete. You get extra cash by increasing the bus fare at the right time. You also need to hide from your girlfriend so she will not know you are a conductor, if you are caught you lose certain amount of points.

2. Yahoo Yahoo boys - Your job is to track and catch 419 people.

3. Lagos Life - Your main goal is to go from rags to riches. You will have to deal with land lord, rushing for buses to get to work, you can chose not to pay the conductor, in which case you have to fight him, if you win you get to save some cash, but if you don't you pay them and pay for your hospital bill. You also need to avoid getting on those fake buses that take you straight to the police station, where they charge you to bail yourself. In the game, armed robbers will visit your house once you have certain amount of money, so make sure to buy a gun by then or visit the local baba alawo's shrine.

I hope you guys get the idea. But if you must do your high tech, sci-fi game, then please turn things around to make it fun. What I mean by turning things around is to have Bush and other presidents of first world countries be begging Nigeria to save them from the Aliens. Kind of like how America is always saving the world in movies like Men In Black, iRobot, and many other ones I can't think of now.

Let me know what you guys think about those 3 type of games I listed above.

Kris.

smiley Ok so check this outtt, !!! I loved video games. i loved RPG's. I loved action/sci fic puzzle etcc,

I wantedddddddddd,

I studied, something in computers, and today I was around. I was amused.

1) When you say this are you saying you do all the engine programming and all? like tooling and, device bugging and all?
2) Are you in Naija?
3) Are you in Lagos?
4) I have been writing a storyboard with plotlines for a while, I once wrote a small 3d-editor tool for fun because, I was learning to program in those days, when you say work do you work all day before to start development? Do you do this to fish out people? grin cheesy
5) I would really love a nice fineeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee concept nigerian artist who can help me with some things, My idea about it is BIG. I wanted to do things in film & Television as well maybe even a comic before, butttt question here is how motivated are u because my mail is lastcenter@gmail.com. Mail me as fast as possible.

I computate for a living and very soon I will move to where I might build devices. I think you could have noted, I discovered how many people came up with so many new things in artist if people can model so many fashion designs how much more can people , nooottttttt,

Re: 3D Nigerian Game by Nobody: 8:43am On Sep 25, 2011
nice work i got the flair to create games but am limiting to Web via Away3d or As3isolib but whats holding me down is a scanner or a wacom. created some away3d demo so i'm guessing soon i should be making simple educative games.
Re: 3D Nigerian Game by lastcenter: 4:29pm On Oct 01, 2011
I had a  very nice concept, story of all time. People would have had people like **** recording that game soundtrack or something. The story has some key things in it. I would have people thinking about typical things just like how we hear afro beats nowadays with blues & techno mixes, it could have filter the market somehow, A light stage with some hot naija babes and then your life will change,
