BIO

Yung-Drug aka Dapo Akinmarin is a talented hip-hop artist in his early 20’s born and bred in Lagos Nigeria, but originally from Ondo state. He had his primary education at corona Apapa and mainland private school respectively then moved on to the prestigious king’s college Lagos for his secondary (high-school) education. He has since been said to be a force to reckon with in the Nigerian music industry.

Yung drug’s Debut mixtape is set to drop  and its titled ‘’The Risin’ Son’’ ! With hits like ‘’blackberry swag, Ft, AQ  and ‘’Get it in, ft, deepthots’’ be rest assured he is bringing it. This project is free, A good way to appreciate all the love and support shown by his loyal Fans who he appreciates dearly.

YungDrug recently got nominated for ‘next rated artiste 2011’’ the 6th edition of the peak awards and urges all his fans to vote for him. YUNG-DRUG is currently in the studio working on his debut album titled ‘’STANDARD PROCEDURE’’ which will have a variety of Artiste and producers, both local and international features expected  on this project as he has promised to deliver nothing less than 100% which to him is ‘’STANDARD PTOCEDURE’’.

Yungdrug is the CEO of ‘’ROLEMODELS records’’ and Co-founder of ‘’ROLEMODELS ‘’a team of focused, talented and brilliant young Nigerians with bright futures  looking to make a change in the Entertainment industry. The group ROLEMODELS initially kicked off way back in 2006 with about 7young boys trying to make music. Then down to 5, then 4 till they all broke off to achieve more personal goals. During their buzz!  They will be remembered for their smash hit tracks like ‘’My shawty and Naija-boys’’.  In 2008 Yung drug decided to revived the group ROLEMODELS with new members introducing the first-lady phlowetry, loli-boy-money and k-boy(executive member). And they released their first track together titled ‘’HOW-WE-ROLE’’ available on his mixtape. And the ROLEMODELS Ep (coming soon).
The launch of Yungdrug’s clothing line called  ‘’ROLEMODELS WEAR’’  will be official this summer, but Orders can be placed for exclusive rates  now!
