If you are wicked enough to celebrate on boko haram members death then you shouldn't lament when boko retaliates. Whilst most of Nigerian muslims abhor this increasingly sadistic terrorists i'm afraid I don't think Housa muslim leaders are doing enough to join hands with the rest of nigerians in crushing this terrifying menace. Utterances are completely useless in the current circumstances. The only way to defeat boko haram and turn back the tide is is to cut off the head of the snake, that is, violentlently exterminating the leadership if this violent group. You could say fighting fire with fire because these terrorists cannot be reasoned with. But the most helpful group can only be leaders in the hause community sadly I haven't seen any meaningful effort by groups such as AREWA for example, suggesting credible solutions.

It will be a pity to see innocent hausa brothers being attacked in other parts of nigeria but it is almost inevitable that they might witness such fate as revenge. That is why the voices and actions of hausa leaders matter more than ever. A friend of mine always says 'evil prevails when a few good men do nothing'.
