An Atiku and Obi ticket will fail woefully. Head or tail, Asiwaju will survive 2027. If the north presents a formidable candidate like Atiku, Tinubu will whip up southern sentiments of how Buhari finished his 8 years with support from the south and how even the Pdp in 2019 did not field a southern candidate just so the North can have 8 years.

If on the other hand a southern candidate emerges as a strong opposition, Tinubu will remind the North that he has only four years and power will return to them. Either way, he wins.
