Firstly I want to thank people like webbxxpert, online4business, coputa and dauntless15 for their advice on my previous thread.

Last year I created a thread that I was tired seeing my brother staying at home doing nothing then I suggested he learned a skill. He chose animation. I contacted some animation schools and their fees were high so I went online and saw animation courses for as low as N3000.
First I purchased an online course from a Lagos based 3D person for him at the cost of N15000. I gave the man my brother's email and the files were sent to him. According to my brother, he didn't really understood some topics there and most times he had to contacted the person who sold the course to explain explain to him but he still didn't get it. He told me how some topics were very complex.

In October last year I bought foreign online courses for him though expensive but not as expensive as the animation schools I visited.
He started learning and according to him the foreign courses were quite explanatory that he didn't have to contact the people for help. He also learnt some from YouTube.

Starting from January this year he began to apply for jobs and to God's glory he is getting jobs and being paid in dollars.
His challenge now is laptop. The laptop he is using he said it's not strong to carry the load.
So please can someone here help me recommend a pocket friendly laptop that can do 3D animations. Thank you all.

Does this mean Southeastern part of the country is ineligible for development studies? Why has the Eastern parts been totally ruled out of the development efforts of the government tenure after tenure? There should be development across the zones in order to decentralize the economy for fair play.

This is not completely true. The temperature at high altitude is hotter than at the lower altitude. The earth absorbs the sun's rays just as much as your body does when exposed to it, but when you go higher, you are exposed more to the sun's rays which becomes higher. Three things we lack in Nigeria to make such advancement:
1. Lack of research funding
2. Lack of transparency on both the personnel to carry out research and the research financing personnel
3. Lack of commitment on the acquisition of skills for carrying out quality research or doing quality work.
I like the way our medical school is organized more than other fields that require practical skills acquisition.
If more attention can be given to engineering training emphasizing on quality skills acquisition by students while training and availability of funding even if little to innovative students who would apply their acquired skills to solving society problems, we shall grow quickly.
One thing we don't realize is, a lot of Chinese engineers were trained in the West. They transfer their skills to younger engineers, and their government is committed to ensuring good development environment where the skills are sought and utilized. How many Nigeria engineers can even identify workshop tools accurately without checking it up online?

Other countries fund their engineering programs and research to move their nation forward, here, everything is looted and becoming an engineer seems like a bad choice in the country. They should take a look at Russia where the strength of their academics is maths, science, physics and engineering and how strong they are.
When will we have good decision makers in this country whose interest wouldn't be wealth accumulation for self.
